Nyakane replaces Koch in late Springboks change to face Romania
Prop Trevor Nyakane replaced Vincent Koch in holders South Africa's starting lineup to play Romania in the Rugby World Cup on Sunday, tournament organisers announced minutes before kick-off.
The reason for Koch's withdrawal was not immediately given, with Frans Malherbe moving up to the bench.
The lateness of the change was highlighted with Nyakane wearning No. 18 on his shirt to start the game instead of the No. 3, with Malherbe in the very unusual No. 28 jersey among the replacements.
