Jack Crowley has been entrusted with the daunting challenge of replacing retired legend Johnny Sexton as titleholders Ireland's fly-half, starting with the Six Nations clash away to France on Friday.
"He's a confident kid, Jack, so being able to grab hold of the team has been one of the things that has most impressed me during camp," said Ireland head coach Andy Farrell.
Sexton retired following Ireland's heartbreaking Rugby World Cup quarterfinal defeat by New Zealand last October.
