Half-backs Takuya Yamasawa and Yutaka Nagare, winger Gerhard van den Heever and back-rower Tevita Tatafu also drop out of the starting line-up for Sunday's Autumn Nations Series game.
Scrum-half Noaoto Saito, fly-half Seungsin Lee, winger Siosaia Fifita, back-rower Pieter Labuschagne and Matsushima's replacement Shogo Nakano come in after last Saturday's loss to England.
