FULL-TIME! NEW ZEALAND 23-20 AUSTRALIA! What a comeback and what a sensational win from the All Blacks! Incredible fighting spirit from the All Blacks, who were nowhere in the first quarter, but what an incredible rugby contest and absolutely heartbreaking for Australia. They can take comfort that they gave a truly great rugby team one hell of a fight. Thanks for sharing the action with us and enjoy your sporting weekend!

KICK-OFF! We're underway with the second half here in Dunedin… it's New Zealand against Australia… and it's LIVE!
HALF-TIME, NEW ZEALAND 3-17 AUSTRALIA! What a 40 minutes of rugby, and what a turnaround from last Saturday. Obviously New Zealand resting players is making a difference. Australia have just dominated proceedings… but the All Blacks have found third gear and can smell fourth gear… and we could be in a bruising second half that will making monster trucks look like a friendly game of tiddlywinks. All the second-half action up shortly.
GREAT DRIVING by the All Blacks, taking it all the way into the Australian half, and the Wallabies concede a penalty in front of poles in desperation - that was some superb running rugby by New Zealand.
OH NO… amateur mistake, the ref awards a penalty to the All Blacks as the Wallabies once again took too long to get to the lineout. Another big moment that is keeping the All Black nostrils open…
All Blacks win ball and we have some running, kicking… and it's another GREAT long kick from Gordon from his own half to win a Wallaby lineout inside the All Blacks 22…
All Blacks drive over the halfway line but concede a penalty for holding onto the ball. Gordon secures the lineout on the All Black 22…
The All Blacks try to run out of danger, but their passing is slow, off and their handling poor. Literally not the side we saw last weekend of course, but how good are the Aussies - defending like the kind of wall Trump was promising back in 2016.
Australia win the lineout, drive forward, McDemott breaks from the back, finds a gap and drives over the line… but one All Black defender turns him over as he dives and Ardie Savea powers over McDermott to secure the ball. Huge moment in the match - that would he have been a big lead as we see half time approaching.
Australia drive into the 22 again and the All Blacks concede another penalty… Gordon finds touch on the 5m.
… the kick doesn't find touch, Nawaqanitawase collects and drives towards the centre of the pitch where he's brought down but New Zealand are penalised.

Australia are running hard at the All Blacks, who are tackling well but it's non-stop pressure…

All Blacks push into the Wallaby half, the ball is cleared but GORDON breaks from his half into the Wallaby half, he has a possible overlap out to his left, he spirals a pass out to the left wing… but Nawaqanitawase was making good ground to get back to cover with a possible try-saving tackle.
The All Blacks tasted possession briefly after Australia conceded a penalty, but again it's the Wallabies with possession.
CONVERSION, AUSTRALIA, HOOPER! 0-14; It's an easy games sometimes, and that's the case for Gordon, with a second conversion in a row from right on the left touchline. The Dunedin crowd is verging to the quieter side…
TRY, AUSTRALIA, HOOPER! 0-12; Another superb moment from Australia, with Hooper nailing his first Test try.
GO YOU AUSSIES! Nawaqanitawase makes a great break near the halfway line, Kellaway continues, Australia press forward, Hooper gets the ball 8-metres out near the corner, he drives through three All Black tackles and…

TRY, AUSTRALIA, KOROIBETE! 0-5; The TMO needed a lot of views but it is finally clear that the try was good. Brilliant work on the line by Koroibete and great start from Australia.
Great running to the blindside from the Wallabies and it's over in the corner but it's tight and it's TMO time…
Wallaby flyer Gordon with a great kick into the corner and it's a Wallaby thrown-in on the All Black 5m…
Australia with the early control and running in the All Black half… and the ref has blown for a penalty halfway between the All Blacks 22 and 10m.
KICK-OFF! We're underway here in Dunedin! It's the All Blacks against the Wallabies!
Here's the Haka… and what a sight it is!

Last year New Zealand won 40-14 and squeaked home 39-37, while in 2021 they beat Australia 38-21, 57-22 and 33-25. In 2020 Australia narrowly beat the All Blacks 24-22 in Brisbane after being thrashed 43-5 in Sydney.
New Zealand have won the last six Tests against the Wallabies, while the Wallabies have won just one of the last eight Tests.
The big clash to watch is once again the pivotal role of the two flyhalf. Aussie Carter Gordon has the chance to add to last week's first Test start… but he will lock horn and boots with the All Blacks' Damian McKenzie. It's a lot to ask of the young Wallaby, and his performance is sure to lock down his role at No 10 for the rest of this World Cup year.
Winger Will Jordan, with 23 tries in 23 Tests, will move to full-back to afford a Test debut to Shaun Stevenson, a 26-year-old full-back/winger with a chance to stake a claim for a spot in this year's World Cup.
Young scrum-half Tate McDermott takes over as his country's skipper ahead of an on-fire All Black side, although one that will be without a number of first-choice players who are being rested now that the respective trophies have been stowed behind glass. The Wallabies will be relying a lot on McDermott's decision-making and his attacking play.
At the same time, Australia were not a walkover last Saturday, giving the All Blacks a good challenge for at least the first half of the match. That said, they must surely have tasted at least some spoonfuls of trepidation leading up to today's clash.
Last week New Zealand sealed the Rugby Championship (and retained the Bledisloe Cup for the 21st year in a row) with a thumping 38-7 win over Australia at the MCG. New Zealand played some simply sensational rugby at times that would have an all-time World XV searching the sacraments for succour. It was truly a spectacle to savour.
Good morning, afternoon or evening, depending where you are in Planet Rugby, and welcome to a monster clash between two giants of the game - New Zealand and Australia - here in Dunedin at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.
