That is it from us at the Mbombela Stadium. We do it all over again next week in Johannesburg. Much work for both teams but the New Zealand coaches will now be under massive pressure.
FULL TIME! 26-10. That is a fair reflection of the game, 16 points. South Africa will be hugely dominant for the entire 80 minutes. Their only concert will be not winning by more. All Blacks just had no good possession against this Springbok pack.
CONVERSION! POLLARD! 26-10. Pollard converts from right in front.
TRY! SOUTH AFRICA! LE ROUX! 24-10. New Zealand have to run from deep to get a bonus point but the ball goes lose, Le Roux kicks ahead and scores under the posts.
CONVERSION! MO'UNGA! 19-10. Mo'unga converts from touch.
TRY! NEW ZEALAND! Frizzel! 19-8. And the All Blacks get over the line eventually despite a massive cover tackle by Willemse. Clarke broke right down the middle there.
Great counter attacking opportunity as Am picks up a lose ball but Smith for some reason kicks, and kicks directly into touch.
RED CARD! Arendse is sent off and correctly so. He had his eyes on the ball, there was no malice, but that cannot be allowed. Barrett came down hard on his head.
Massive collision as Barrett goes up for a high ball and Kurt-Lee Arendse collides with him. It could be red to the Springbok winger, or at least yellow. That was dangerous.
PENALTY! SOUTH AFRICA! POLLARD! 19-3. Another penalty landed and now the All Blacks are more than two scores down.
Penalty to South Africa. All Blacks just can't get over the advantage line. Pollard can put the hosts 16 up from about 37 meters out on a slight angle.
Forward pass results in a scrum to New Zealand inside their own half. Springboks making too many errors now, they can really drive the nail into the coffin here.
Boks have a scrum on their own 10m line. Arendse kicks ahead and then makes the tackle putting Clarke into touch.
All Blacks have a lineout inside the 22 of the Springboks. Poor pass by Hendrikse resulted in this.
Koch goes off his feet at the ruck to hand the All Blacks a penalty on their own 22. The worry will be that despite dominating, the Boks have only scored one try.
All Black discipline has been poor in the last 10 minutes. South Africa opt to scrum on the visitors 10m line.
DROP GOAL! SOUTH AFRICA! POLLARD! 16-3. The Boks get a cheap turnover and after two phases Pollard drops into the pocket to slot the three points.
Havili puts in a magnificent kick to put the Boks back on their 5m line. Unfortunately it was carried back into his own half so it isn't a 50/22.
Marx is something special. He pulls off another turnover inside his own 22 after a wonderful touch find by Mo'unga.
Kwagga Smith rushes up to fast and is blown up. This should give New Zealand a decent attacking opportunity in the hosts half.
PENALTY! SOUTH AFRICA! POLLARD! 13-3. Pollard nails it from 40m out. Springbok maul is starting to make headway in the second half.
Scrum penalty goes to South Africa on the All Black 10m line. Pollard will have a shot at goal.
Good move off the back of the lineout by the All Blacks. Jordan finds space but a superb ankle tap by Wiese halts him. Visitors go wide again but Arendse puts Clarke into touch.
Kitshoff makes a good turnover before Willemse plays territory. Good kick.
De Jager loses the ball in contact but then Jordan puts the ball directly into touch.
KICK OFF! 10-3. Pollard gets the second half underway. The All Blacks will need to get a lot more territory in this half while the hosts will want to keep the tempo of the first half and reap the benefits in the final 20 minutes.
HALF TIME! 10-3. We go into the break with South Africa leading by seven. The concern will be their utter dominance and yet only a seven point lead. The same issues persist with South Africa as they are incapable of putting opposition away. New Zealand won't be too unhappy, they are seven points down having just had 35% possession in that half.
Marx with another huge penalty win on his own 22. Magnificent effort as the All Blacks started to get some momentum.
Scrum penalty to the All Blacks. That was a superb effort. Lineout to the visitors on the Springbok 10m line.
PENALTY! NEW ZEALAND! J. BARRETT! 10-3. All Blacks are back within a converted try of the Boks.
Needless penalty handed to the All Blacks as De Allende breaches the 5m line from the scrum too early. Barrett can get the visitors on the board here.
Havili knocks on between South Africa's 10m line and 22. He should really be holding onto that.
For all their dominance the Springboks are only 10 up. This can change very quickly if they don't get some more scoreboard pressure.
Superb turnover by Savea under his own uprights. Springboks again running out of ideas after five or six phases.
Another scrum penalty goes to South Africa. Pollard puts this one out deep inside the All Black 22.
Willemse looks for the 50/22 but Barrett just keeps the ball in. He then counters brilliantly and the All Blacks get to the hosts 10m line before a forward pass halts their momentum.
Springboks win another aerial battle and this time they go wide. They have men open, De Allende opts for the grubber, which isn't a poor option but the execution wasn't good enough.
PENALTY! SOUTH AFRICA! POLLARD! 10-0. Pollard slots this from in front of the uprights, about 35 meters out.
Penalty to South Africa. Cane penalised but it looks harsh. Looks like the All Black captain had all rights to the ball there.
Pressure lineout to New Zealand on their own 5m line. But South Africa close the gap which gives Barrett a chance to clear.
New Zealand get some momentum for the first time but Marx wins a brilliant penalty on the ground.
Maul is defended well by the All Blacks again. Marx breaks away but loses it forward in contact.
Lineout to South Africa on halfway. Will they opt for the maul?
New Zealand under huge pressure here. They need to start taking some contact before going wide, the Springboks have them lined up. Scrum to the visitors inside their own 22.
Scrum penalty goes to the hosts but Pollard fails to find touch. Poor error.
Scrum to South Africa on their own 10m line. Barrett again can't collect the high ball.
CONVERSION! POLLARD! 7-0. Superb conversion by Pollard from the touchline.
TRY! SOUTH AFRICA! ARENDSE! 5-0. Pollard puts up the high kick, Barrett can't collect, Am does and offloads brilliantly to Arendse who is over in the right-hand corner.
Springboks have a scrum on the New Zealand 10m line. They will want this good start to result in points.
Jordie Barrett comes up with a try saving tackle on Mapimpi just short of his own line. Springboks have started well but not points to show for it yet.
Good defence by the visitors. Springboks go through six phases before going wide. Arendse is taken out 7 meters from the visitors line.
Scrum penalty to South Africa. Pollard puts it out inside the All Black 22.
Immediate free kick to South Africa. They opt for the scrum again, this time it is their ball.
We will restart on halfway with a scrum to the All Blacks.
Faf de Klerk gets a massive head knock whilst making the tackle. He is out cold and will definitely not continue. Hendrikse on for the entirety of the game.

Despite losing 2-1 to Ireland, the opening Test - which the All Blacks won 42-19 - showed the strength of the visitors. If the Boks do not keep it tight today and give their rivals turnover ball they will run into problems.
Much of the talk this week has been about how New Zealand will deal with the physicality of the Springboks. The All Blacks are likely to want to move the heavy South African pack around the park but they will need to find parity in the tight five to get the possession to do so.
South Africa go into this match as slight favourites, something that has not been the case in recent years. The hosts come off a 2-1 series victory over Wales while the All Blacks are under pressure after suffering a 2-1 home series defeat to Ireland.
In their last six meetings New Zealand have won three and South Africa two. There has been one draw. In the Rugby Championship last season they won one apiece in Australia, both matches saw a two points score difference.
