The Cardiff maul is stopped and the Bulls have it and will kick it out.
The Bulls just about did enough to win this one but Cardiff will rue the number of handling errors they coughed up while on attack. The Bulls get their second win of their URC Tour.
Cardiff get the penalty late on and will have one last go at the Bulls. The referee stops proceedings to restore his comms.
Carre and Lee-Lo combine for the breakaway but Gans gets onto the ball to win a crucial penalty for the Bulls inside their own 22.
The Bulls can't win a penalty and they rumble up to the Cardiff 22 but then the hosts get onto the jackal.
Cardiff knock on and the Bulls have the scrum feed just inside the Cardiff half. They will be looking for a penalty.
Robson kicks for space but overcooks it and Cardiff have to go back to defend a lineout inside their own half.
The inevitable scrum penalty allows the Bulls to take play back into the Cardiff half. Their the Bulls knock on and Cardiff will want to get it out quickly to get attacking.
Cardiff let themselves down after winning a crucial penalty, they feed the lineout skew and the Bulls have the scrum ten inside their own half.
The Bulls win a crucial turnover penalty after some poor kicking from the Bulls gave Cardiff a chance to attack again. Smith Kicks the penalty but doesn't find touch.
Cardiff try a cross-kick that doesn't come off and the Bulls go to their maul from the lineout.
The Bulls scrum is dominant and they win a penalty that allows them to make an easy exit.
Cardiff spill the ball in midfield as they try a worked move off the lineout after Carr was penalised for a high tackle.
PENALTY, BULLS, SMITH, 12-18:
Smith slots the kick to give the Bulls a six-point lead.
De Klerk is away but he gets pulled in and Cardiff steal the ball, however, the Bulls get the penalty.
Grady runs out of space out wide and the Bulls take the lineout quickly but Smith can only find touch on the Bulls 22.
Brink pulls back a Cardiff player on halfway and Cardiff have another penalty which they kick up to the Bulls 22.
CONVERSION, CARDIFF, DE BEER, 12-15:
De Beer converts the try.
TRY, CARDIFF, LEE-LO, 10-15:
Lee-Lo catches the Bulls napping and is in for the score untouched.
YELLOW CARD, BULLS, KRIEL:
Kriel interferes with a pass and gets a yellow card.
Cardiff have incredibly knocked on as they attack yet again and the Bulls have the scrum feed close to their own line. The Bulls get the scrum time penalty as well to aid their exit.
The Bulls are penalised for a late tackle on Williams and that allows Cardiff to set up a lineout deep in the Bulls 22.
The Bulls throw a big forward pass on halfway and Cardiff now have the scrum.
De Beer finds his touch after getting back to recover a kick from the Bulls. The lineout is the Bulls just about ten metres inside the Cardiff half.
PENALTY, BULLS, SMITH, 5-15:
The Bulls can't use their advantage and Smith steps up to slot the penalty.
The Bulls do well to force Cardiff into touch off the restart and they will have an early chance to attack from the lineout.
HALF TIME: CARDIFF 5-12 BULLS
The Bulls created two moments of magic which has given them the edge. Cardiff have looked dangerous going forward but their hands cost them as did their discipline.
The Bulls are close to getting over but Cardiff stray offside to kill off the attack. The Bulls go back to the lineout.
Another strange grubber from Smith rolls into touch just outside the Cardiff 22. De Beer then kicks straight out to give the Bulls another attacking lineout inside the 22.
Cardiff try to play out of their own half but they knock it on and the Bulls have an attacking scrum.
The Bulls spill it on attack and Cardiff can come away but a kick ahead goes into touch.
Cardiff infringe at the breakdown after the scrum and the Bulls can kick up to the Cardiff 22.
Cardiff knock on as they try to force the attack and the Bulls can scrum ten inside their own half.
The Bulls attack stalls on the Cardiff 22 as they lose the ball and Cardiff kick long. De Klerk looks for touch but his kick doesn't get the Bulls too far from their own 22.
A kick straight into touch from De Beer has cost Cardiff metres as the Bulls feed the lineout on halfway.
De Beer misses his conversion attempt for Cardiff.
TRY, CARDIFF, GRADY, 5-12:
A poor kick clear sees Cardiff come right back at the Bulls and evetually Grady has enougn space out wide to finish them off.
Cardiff struggle to make headway with ball in hand and a grubber gets away from them but the Bulls will have to secure the lineout ball to get out of trouble,
Cardiff get a bit lucky as a poor kick from Williams sees the Bulls stray offside and Cardiff kick deep into the Bulls 22.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 0-12:
Smith converts this one from straight in front.
TRY, BULLS, DE KLERK, 0-10:
Cardiff get a scrum after a spilled restart but as they spill it in midfield, De Klerk gets onto it and sprints in to score a breakaway try.
Smith cannot convert the try.
TRY, BULLS, PAPIER, 0-5:
A spectacular team try is started by a wide ball out to Gans who manufactures a great offload but its Papier who scores after gathering a chip ahead.
Smith drills a grubber into touch inside the Cardiff 22 with the Bulls going forward. There was a great carry off the scrum from Gumede and quick ball but the flyhalf went with the kick.
Cardiff compete well for the high ball but knock on and the Bulls have a scrum just inside their own half.
The Bulls can turn defence into attack from a lineout after a penalty kick. They do secure the ball and make progress into the Cardiff half.
Cardiff knock on again but the Bulls would have hoped to do a lot better with their exit. They will have another go from a scrum just outside their own 22.
Cardiff threatened the Bulls 22 but then spill the ball giving the Bulls a chance to escape from the pressure they have started under.
KICK-OFF: Cardiff kick off short and gather it back to go straight onto the attack. Great start from the hosts.
