That is a big result for the embattled Stormers. It's their first win in six games in the competition.
FULL-TIME: BULLS 16-19 STORMERS. The visitors clinch a top notch victory at Loftus Versfeld. They handled the weather conditions much better than the Bulls.
Evan Roos makes a superb steal on the break. That is a much-needed penalty for the Stormers.
The Bulls turned down the chance to kick at goal and set another lineout. But their attack is static now as every carrier gets trapped behind the gain-line.
There's no contest from the Stormers at the set-piece and the Bulls secure possession. They swing it back to the left side of the field, but the ball hops out of Petersen's grasp. However, the Bulls had an advantage and they get a penalty.
Gary Porter concedes a penalty at the breakdown and the Bulls kick to the line. This is a crucial lineout.
We're in for a grandstand finish here in the final five minutes of the game. Three points are separating the Bulls and the Stormers.
It's not been Petersen's greatest few minutes. Now he concedes a penalty for a deliberate slap down. But Mathee's shot at goal is wide.
Sergeal Petersen dropping the ball cold without, any real pressure on him from the Stormers, won't help the Bulls' cause.
How will the Bulls respond to going behind on the scoreboard? There's about 10 minutes remaining in this clash and they trail by three points.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, MATHEE. 16-19.
TRY, STORMERS, SIMELANE. 16-17. The visitors hit the front after the centre reacted fastest to a loose ball. He hacked the ball forward and outpaced two Bulls players to score.
It's starting to drizzle again.
The Bulls work their way into a favourable position on the field, but Sergeal Petersen spills the ball. Scrum to the Stormers.
CONVERSION, BULLS, KRIEL. 16-12.
TRY, BULLS, VERMAAK. 14-12. The home side bash through the Stormers line to score the first try of the game.
Nizaam Carr taps the ball. The Bulls are ferociously attacking the line through a series of pick and go's.
The Stormers sack the Bulls maul and according to the referee they did so illegally. The Bulls are playing under an advantage.
Penalty to the Bulls against the scrum feed. They turn down the points on offer and set a lineout.
The Bulls spread it wide, but a poor pass to Devon Williams doesn't go to hand and the Stormer will feed the scrum just inside their own half.
Nizaam Carr is the first man in over the ball and forces a turnover. In an excellent sequence of transitional play, Papier finds space in behind the Stormers defence with a well-weighted kick. Mathee is the sole man back for the Stormers and he does well to beat the first Bulls chaser, but then he steps into touch. Big-gain for the Bulls.
Gelant carries the ball to the line a couple of times.
But another error by Willie le Roux halts the Bulls' march forward. From the lineout, he kicks the ball directly into touch. That's a big net-gain for the Stormers.
Le Roux finds touch and Grobbelaar will throw-in at the lineout.
After the Stormers knocked on, the Bulls win a penalty at the subsequent scrum. This scrum battle between the front rows is tasty.
The Stormers are on attack, but the Bulls are showing wonderful aggression in defence.
Le Roux goes aerial with an up and under, but Gelant is up to the task and secures possession for the Stormers off the high ball.
Another injury setback for the Bulls as Cobus Wiese hobbles off with an ankle knock.
Unlucky for the Bulls, as they knock the ball on and concede possession to the Stormers.
Zas fields the ball from the restart, but he is slid into touch be the Bulls chasers, affording the Bulls an attacking lineout. That's a good result for the hosts.
KICK OFF: Kriel gets the second half underway. With three points separating the sides, it's going to be a fascinating second 40 minutes.
HALF-TIME: Bulls 9-12 Stormers. A scrum penalty goes to the Stormers and Mathee takes a quick tap before hoofing the ball into touch to bring an end of the half.
The Bulls reshuffle their loose trio after Marco van Staden goes off.
Now the Stormers captain, Salmaan Moerat, is off the field for a head injury assessment (HIA).
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATHEE. 9-12.
But Mathee will get another opportunity from almost the exact same spot after Cobus Wiese is pinged.
Mathee's long-range effort sails just under the cross. Le Roux clears the ball away.
Soon after coming back on the field, Willie le Roux concedes another penalty. Stormers will kick at goal.
Kriel's restart comes off the side of the boot and flies straight into touch. That unforced error gives the Stormers a scrum in centre field.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATHEE. 9-9.
The Bulls are pinged again for streaking offside, with captain Reinhardt Ludwig pointed out as the guilty party.
Evan Roos carries the ball forward with a barnstorming run, in an attempt to keep the ball alive, Loader goes down the blindside and is bundled into touch.
Ben Loader fends off Sergeal Petersen and sends the Bulls winger reeling back.
And the Bulls hit the front for the first time in this game.
PENALTY, BULLS, KRIEL. 9-6.
There's no lack of aggression in the Stormers' defence today.
PENALTY, BULLS, KRIEL. 6-6.
Warrick Gelant is caught in possession and is then penalised for holding on.
Devon Williams finds some distance on his kick to the line. But the Stormers poach possession back.
And the Bulls win a timely penalty at the scrum. That'll bring them some relief.
The Stormers storm over the tryline, but the maul collapses and with the ball out coming, the scrum goes the way of the Bulls because the visitors took the ball in.
From the line-out, the Stormers set the rolling maul and they immediately get an advantage.
YELLOW CARD, BULLS, WILLIE LE ROUX. Despite all his protestations, veteran is sent off for cynical play.
PENALTY, STORMERS, MATHEE. 3-6.
The Stormers have the Bulls pinned inside their own half at the moment, And the visitors win another kickable penalty.
Deon Fourie knocks on to give the Bulls a scrum, but the Stormers get a free kick and clear their lines.
The ball is not sticking in the hands of these players because of the wet conditions.
Big blow for the Bulls as Canan Moodie leaves the field with an injury. He is replaced by Sergeal Petersen.
Canan Moodie leaps high to take the kick-off, but he knocks the ball forward and he hurt himself in the process.
PENALTY, BULLS, KRIEL. 3-3.
The Stormers come rolling through at the set-piece and the penalty go against them. The Bulls will take a shot at goal.
And we have our first scrum of the game after the Stormers lost the ball forward.

Willie le Roux receives the kick-off, but the Stormers chase well and flood the breakdown and win a penalty in front of the posts.
KICK OFF: The game at Loftus is finally underway after a moment of silence for former Stormers coach Kobus van der Merwe, who passed away on Thursday.
UPDATE: The match officials have inspected the playing surface and the updated kick off time is 18:15, to allow ground staff to prepare the playing surface. A later inspection will be carried out and an update given should it differ to the current state of affairs.
UPDATE: The tournament, match officials and host venue have agreed to delay the start of the URC round 12 fixture to 18:00. The officials will carry out further playing surface inspections at the appropriate time. They will issue a verdict should it be contrary to the above start time.
GAME DELAYED: Due to persistent lightning over the stadium (10km corridor), the start of the match has been delayed. The delayed start time will only be confirmed once the officials are able to do an inspection of the playing surface and the lightning over the 10km radius is clear for a minimum period of 30 minutes.
