France get the ball after the scrum however and string the phases together before they are dispossessed.
France feed a line-out near halfway after another scrum penalty. They swing it wide and progress to the 10 metre line before securing another penalty. This time they reach the 22 but spill the ball at the line-out.
We continue to see errors from both teams. Very scrappy and Uruguay have another penalty. They then mess up the subsequent line-out.
Uruguay swing the ball wide and make good ground as they cross the halfway line before earning an offside penalty. They find touch, secure the set-piece and go wide again.

Uruguay manage to come away with a ball after HUGE FRENCH PRESSURE at the scrum. They make good ground before securing a penalty at the breakdown. They go for the corner.
A high-kick bouces awkwardly and in favour of France and goes forward off a French arm before they run home to score. BUT we come back for the scrum. NO TRY!

HALF-TIME: FRANCE 13-5 URUGUAY. The French have dominated but the Uruguayan defence have held on for now, They may run out of steam later but at this stage they are up for the fight.
This time France choose a scrum five metres from the Uruguay line and come away with it before going wide. They then go offside and it's relief for Uruguay on the cusp of the break.
The penalties are mounting against Uryguay after a cynical tackle at the breakdown. Again France find touch in the corner and secure the line-out. After a few attempts they try the kick-pass to the corner but there's too much on it. Uruguay have been warned for multiple infringements.
The set-piece is secured and France with seven forwards drive forward before Uruguay steal the ball! WOW!
