FULL TIME: STORMERS 21-27 OSPREYS
The Stormers are lucky to get a bonus point from a contest they probably should have won. Ospreys were patient and played smart rugby. You couldn't call what the Stormers put out smart rugby.
PENALTY TRY, STORMERS, 21-27:
The Stormers will get the losing bouns point with that penalty try.
YELLOW CARD, OSPREYS, NAGY:
Nagy goes to the bin for a deliberate knock on.
The Stormers have a last gasp penalty and are chasing the converted try for a losing bonus point.
PENALTY, OSPREYS, WALSH, 14-27:
Walsh takes his time and eventually slots the kick.
Rudolph gets over the ball and wins the penalty that will seal this win for Ospreys.
Ospreys get the penalty now after Blose hits an opponent high, Morris did well in contact. Ospreys have a lineout on their own 22.
Ospreys win the ball on the ground as Libbok spills it in contact. They kick clear but only as far as the 22.
Ospreys knock on as they contest the Stormers feed at the lineout. The Stormers have a scrum on the Ospreys 22 and need a score in quick time. The TMO then calls contact in the air and the Stormers set up a lineout five out.
Ospreys have stolen it again and that could be the crucial steal. They kick clear but only as far as the 22.
The Stormers get the penalty but they cannot take the shot at goal and have to go to the corner.
The Stormers have an attacking scrum as the TMO corrects the referees call of a Stormers' knock. They are running out of time to get back into this one though and their scrum is a problem too.
The Stormers get another penalty at lineout time and will try again from five out.
The Stormers threaten to build attacking momentum but the Ospreys kill it in a ruck and Libbok kicks the penalty that results into the corner.
CONVERSION, OSPREYS, WALSH, 14-24:
Walsh converts.
TRY, OSPREYS, DEAVES, 14-22:
Deaves powers over to score and stretch the Ospreys lead.
Ospreys win a scrum penalty and they call for another scrum.
The scrum goes straight down and has to be reset.
Roos gets onto the ball to turn it over but he then knocks it on. Ospreys have the scrum deep inside the Stormers 22.
Ospreys have the Stormers going backwards but then Morgan-Williams kicks and kicks dead. The Stormers drop out quickly.
Ospreys blow another attacking set with a wild feed at the lineout. The Stormers have a scrum just outside their own 22.
Libbok bemoans a referee call but the Stormers have to defend again as they are caught offside after throwing an intercept ball.
Xaba wins a crucial turnover penalty for the Stormers who switch play into the Ospreys half.
Ospreys win the scrum penalty and they set up a lineout deep inside the Stormers 22.
The Stormers get backed into their in-goal and will drop out after Libbok dots dead.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, LIBBOK, 14-17:
Libbok cuts the gap down to three with the conversion.
TRY, STORMERS, ROOS, 12-17:
The Stormers finally get something from their desire to run from deep as Simelane finds a hole and then great hands result in Roos punching through to score.
The Stormers hustle off the restart and win the ball back. However, their attack comes to a halt when Libbok throws a pass to nobody and Ospreys kick long but not out.
HALF TIME: STORMERS 7-17 OSPREYS
Ospreys have been patient and waited for the Stormers' mistakes. There have been plenty of those with bizarre decision-making plaguing the hosts. The Stormers have work to do to get back into the match in the second half.
CONVERSION, OSPREYS, WALSH, 7-17:
Walsh converts.
TRY, OSPREYS, MORGAN, 7-15:
Libbok gift wraps a try for the Ospreys with a suicidal cross kick that sets Walsh away and he finds Morgan for the score.
Ungerer tackles his opposite number too early and Ospreys get a cheap exit. They cannot secure the lineout ball though and the Stormers put Ospreys back under pressure on a kick chase.
The Stormers knock in an attack again and Ospreys will have a scrum and the chance to clear their lines.
Ospreys are now done for the same kind of obstruction and the Stormers kick into the Ospreys 22.
The Stormers are guilty of obstruction on attack and that allows Ospreys to switch play into the Stormers half.
The TMO will need to rule on a race for the ball in the in-goal. It was knocked on in-goal and Ospreys will drop out from their goal-line.
Libbok finds a decent touch off the lineout. They then steal the ball off the Ospreys feed and Roos is in behind.
Hartzenburg forces a poor offload and Daymani spills the ball on the bounce. Ospreys have the scrum and kick long into the Stormers 22 once they clear it.
Walsh misses the conversion having come on for Edwards.
TRY, OSPREYS, PARRY, 7-10:
Parry eventually powers over but that try comes from the Stormers trying to play from deep.
Roos gets caught out and knocks on inside the Stormers 22 to give Ospreys a great platform to attack from with a scrum.
Ospreys get a little lucky as the Stormers lose their feet as they thought they had Edwards isolated in the Ospreys 22. The Stormers nare winning a lot of the battles in the air which creates chances for them.
Morgan can't hold the final pass but Nagy had nearly set him in for the try. The Stormers will have a scrum deep in their 22.
The Stormers give up a cheap penalty as they jump the gun and come up too quickly at the lineout. A long kick will set up an attacking Ospreys lineout.
The Stormers win a kicking battle as Ospreys find touch just outside their own 22.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, LIBBOK, 7-5:
Libbok converts.
TRY, STORMERS, DU PLESSIS, 5-5:
Du Plessis sprints in under the posts as the Stormers work a neat move off the lineout.
A short but efficient exit sends the Stormers back to closer to halfway for their lineout.
Ungerer rolls a kick deep into the Ospreys 22 where the visitors will feed a defensive lineout.
Ospreys are happy to kick for touch after probing the Stormers a few times with long kicks and contestables. The Stormers have a lineout ten inside the Ospreys half.
Edwards cannot convert the try from out wide.
TRY, OSPREYS, MORGAN, 0-5:
Morgan shows his experience with a neat finish from the grubber kick and Ospreys punish the wastefulness of the Stormers.
The Stormers swing from the sublime to the ridiculous but it is Giles of Ospreys who gets a key intercepty and gets his team going forward. The Stormers lose their feet and are penalised. Ospreys set up a lineout inside the Stormers' 22.
The Stormers show enterprise in attack but eventually just knock on as they threaten to enter the Ospreys 22. Osprey have the scrum feed just outside their 22.
KICK OFF: Ospreys kick off and Dayimani drops it but Nagy then tries a drop and the referee says advantage was over. The Stormers can drop out.
