FULL TIME: BULLS 61-24 OSPREYS
Ospreys incredibly kick a penalty dead as they are seeking one last shot at their bonus point. The Bulls were dominant and take their full house of points away from this one. Ospreys might have deserved something for their energy and enterprise but they don't take any log points away.
The Bulls run out into touch and Ospreys will have another chance to go in search of the bonus point try.
CONVERSION, BULLS, VAN DER WALT, 61-24;
Van der Walt converts.
TRY, BULLS, LE ROUX, 59-24:
Le Roux reads the Ospreys attack and gets the intercept on his own five and runs 95 metres to score.
Ospreys kick clear eventually after figuring they wouldn't find a way through the Bulls.
The advantage was over and it will be the Bulls who feed the scrum to restart after injured players are treated.
The Bulls spill it in attack and Ospreys can try to launch from deep. An attack ends as Ospreys knock on.
This time the Bulls get done for collapsing and there will be an easy exit for the Ospreys. Ospreys are still out to get their fourth try to at least burgle a point from this match.
The Bulls knock on as they look to pierce the Ospreys 22. Ospreys have the scrum but it takes and age to get it set.
CONVERSION, OSPREYS, WALSH, 54-24:
Walsh makes the kick in quick time.
TRY, OSPREYS, GILES, 54-22:
Giles does brilliantly to catch a high pass and get it down in the corner.
Van der Merwe jumps the gun and grabs a ball that was still in a ruck and this time Ospreys set up the attacking lineout in the Bulls 22. Ospreys need two tries to bag a bonus point.
Walsh kicks long and it rolls into touch inside the Bulls 22. It isn't a 50/22 but it does get the Ospreys into the Bulls red zone.
PENALTY TRY, BULLS, 54-17:
The Officials agree that a penalty try is the correct call.
YELLOW CARD, OSPREYS, NAGY:
Nagy goes into the bin for his actions and coughs up the seven anyway.
The TMO thinks an Ospreys player has committed a deliberate knock on close to the line and this could be a penalty try.
The Bulls win a penalty as the Ospreys scrum goes down and Smith boots it long for the corner. They will have a lineout in the Ospreys 22.
The Bulls seem to be able to cross the advantage line at will but they knock on in midfield. Ospreys have a scrum on halfway.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 47-17:
Smith gets another kick from close to the touchline but slots again.
TRY, BULLS, ARENDSE, 45-17:
Arendse beats a tackler and then darts away and into the corner from nowhere. That is how dangerous this Bulls team can be.
The Bulls are nearly in again thanks to smart link up play between Moodie and Le Roux but a pass goes forward and Ospreys have the scrum.
CONVERSION, OSPREYS, WALSH, 40-17:
Walsh converts from out wide.
TRY, OSPREYS, WILLIAMS, 40-15:
Ospreys gamble with the chip and get the bounce and Williams canters in to score.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 40-10: Smith adds another two.
TRY, BULLS, PAPIER, 38-10:
Poor restart play from Ospreys invites the Bulls to run at them and into space. Papier runs a great support line and will get in to score.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 33-10:
Smith converts.
TRY, BULLS, MOODIE, 31-10:
Moodie is first to the grubber this time and scores. The Bulls came straight back at them from the dropout and Ospreys had no answer.
Hanekom takes in the restart for the Bulls and it takes a lot to bring him down just outside their 22. The Bulls launch an attack from deep and are away on the outside. Vorster kicks ahead but an Ospreys player gets back to dot dead. Ospreys have to dropout again this time from their goal-line.
HALF TIME: BULLS 26-10 OSPREYS
Ospreys have had moments with ball in hand but have mostly been shut down by the Bulls rush defence. The Bulls have used their strike weapons well. Ospreys limited the Bulls chances to use their setpiece but got reminded that the Bulls have lots of attacking ability.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 26-10:
Smith gives the Bulls a 16 point lead and that will smart for Ospreys who were shaping to cut that lead to two.
TRY, BULLS, MOODIE, 24-10:
Kriel reads an Ospreys attack and gets the intercept, he had to get it right as Ospreys had the numbers. Kriel pops it on the inside to Moodie who runs in to score.
Ospreys are sent back to halfway again as they overkick a hoist and it is marked by Le Roux. Ospreys have needed brilliance to break the Bulls line.
The Bulls tap and go from a penalty but Papier is too quick for his teammates and gets isolated. Ospreys have players injured and will delay kicking this penalty from their own 22.
PENALTY, OSPREYS, WALSH, 19-10:
Walsh is happy to close the gap with a penalty. Ospreys were not really making progress.
The Bulls jackal well but they haven't rolled away from the tackle well enough and are penalised. Ospreys can attack from another dangerous setpiece close to the Bulls 22.
Smith cannot convert but that was just the response the Bulls would have wanted after conceding against the run of play.
TRY, BULLS, ARENDSE, 19-7:
Papier throws a huge skip pass to a wide open Arendse as the Ospreys run out of defenders.
The Bulls burst forward in a sweeping attack as Ospreys don't find touch.
CONVERSION, OSPREYS, WALSH, 14-7:
Just like that Ospreys are back in this having not really fired a shot.
TRY, OSPREYS, DAVIES, 14-5:
Wonderful interplay by the Ospreys creates holes and Davies finishes off with a great support line.
A high shot from Carr allows Ospreys to get onto the attack from a lineout.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 14-0:
Smith converts the try and the Bulls lead by 14.
TRY, BULLS, KRIEL, 12-0:
Kriel jogs in after Arendse gets around the Ospreys defence.
Ospreys miss touch with a penalty which allows the Bulls to spark an attack through Le Roux.
The Bulls opt for safety first after being hemmed in by the Ospreys and find touch close to halfway.
Walsh lines up a shot at goal now, but the ball falls off the tee and he is put off. His kick misses and the Bulls can restart with a dropout.
The Bulls dominate the kicking game and clearly win this exchange as Ospreys put the ball out on their own ten from halfway.
CONVERSION, BULLS, SMITH, 7-0:
Smith caps a solid start for the Bulls with the conversion.
TRY, BULLS, GROBBELAAR, 5-0:
Grobbelaar is over at the tail of a dominant Bulls maul.
The Bulls turn down the shot at goal and go to the corner. They have had the early momentum.
The Ospreys ,make up territory by regaining the high ball after a box kick. They stretch the Bulls by sending ball wide, but they get isolated and penalised for holding on. The Bull kick for touch and set up a lineout within the Ospreys' 22m.
