FULL TIME: STORMERS 13-7 ULSTER
The Stormers won a battle that they made tougher for themselves. The handling problems persisted through the second half but the Stormers just did enough. Ulster held the lead until the 75th minute but couldn't hang on.
PENALTY, STORMERS, LIBBOK, 13-7:
Libbok slots the kick to ensure the Stormers claim the win.
The scrum goes down on the hit and the Stormers awarded the penalty and that should allow them to clinch the match.
The Stormers have advantage and cannot break through before losing the ball. They will come back for the penalty. The Stormers call for the scrum.
Hooker Kotze has just pulled off a 50/22 to give the Stormers an attacking lineout.
Ulster tap back on the restart but it goes out and the Stormers have the lineout.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, LIBBOK, 10-7:
Libbok converts from out wide after using almost all of the shot clock.
TRY, STORMERS, ROOS, 8-7:
Roos powers over and the Stormers lead at last.
Libbok puts it into the corner with the kick. The Stormers will have a lineout and it looks like they will try to maul over.
The Stormers attack with advantage and make progress but they cannot use it and now they have a decision to make.
The Stormers get rumbling forward but a forced offload goes forward and Ulster will have the scrum ten inside their own half.
The Stormers knock on in attack yet again and if they end up losing they will have only themselves to blame. Ulster have a scrum close to their own 22.
Jantjies knocks on as the Stormers grind back to the Ulster 22. Ulster kick long and we have a back-and-forth kicking battle until Gelant finds a touch ten inside the Ulster half.
Ulster stay calm and clears their lines after the Stormers knock on again. The Stormers have an extra man but they are just being rushed in attack and lack composure.
The Stormers have the lineout but it gets tapped back on the Ulster side and the Stormers frustration is only growing.
YELLOW CARD, ULSTER, MCCANN:
McCann slaps the ball out of the scrumhalf's hands and was offside.
The Stormers set the maul but knock it on and Ulster have a scrum feed just about five out from their own line.
Ulster take a lineout quickly in their own 22 but Kotze gets up to grab it and is taken in the air. The Stormers opt to set up a lineout five out.
PENALTY, STORMERS, LIBBOK, 3-7:
Libbok kicks a penalty and at last the Stormers are on the board.
Roos stretches to try to score but he knocks on at the last moment. Hartzenburg had created the moment with a great break. Ulster have a scrum close to their line.
A good contest sees the Stormers win another lineout after Ulster slap the ball into touch.
The Stormers are complaining about calls going against them and calling for TMO reviews which is annoying the referee. Ulster will have a lineout just inside the Stormers' half when play restarts.
Ulster are being pinned deep in their 22 but they still hold the lead. Ulster have a lineout ten from their own line.
The Stormers knock on as the line beckons. They broke off the lineout early and Dweba looked to cop a high shot but they get nothing.
The Stormers reject the shot at goal and set up a lineout five out. They couldn't use the advantage and that might be telling.
The teams are trading penalties that allow each other easy exits. The Stormers are a bit lucky to get that call. They kick up to the Ulster 22 with a massive bomb.
The scrum penalty goes the way of Ulster with Harris not happy but he was walking around.
The Stormers nearly gather the restart but they knock it on and Ulster have the scrum feed on their own 22.
HALF TIME: STORMERS 0-7 ULSTER
Both sides have missed two penalties. The Stormers are truthfully lucky to still be in this game after a shoddy first half performance. John Dobson will have work to do to motivate the Stormers at the break.
The Stormers come at Ulster from deep. They seem to lose it on several occasions but eventually Ulster knock on and the Stormers have the scrum on the Ulster 22.
Balacoun knocks on after he gathers a hoist and the Stormers have the scrum feed ten inside their own half. This match is lurching from setpiece to setpiece.
Cooney misses a kick now and there seems to be something cooking at DHL Stadium.
The scrum penalty goes against the Stormers and Ulster will call for the tee.
Ulster knock on from a move straight off the scrum and we have to pack down again with the Stormers to feed.
The Stormers win the scrum penalty and clear their lines. Ulster backpedal after hoist but they send it back up and Libbok knocks on to give Ulster front foot ball.
Ulster cannot feed the lineout straight and the Stormers have the scrum deep inside their own 22.
Ulster find space with a kick and it rolls out to give them a 50/22.
Well. Now Cooney misses a kick, he slams it into the uprights from simple angle.
Ulster attack with advantage but a forward pass ends their efforts and they come back for the kick at goal.
Ulster set up a lineout on the Stormers 22 after winning a penalty in a breakdown contest in their own territory
Libbok pulls another kick to the left and the crowd's groan says it all.
The Stormers get another penalty and call for another shot at goal.
Libbok misses a kick from pretty much straight in front. This is not looking good for the Stormers.
The scrum goes down again and the Stormers get a penalty. They call for the tee.
The scrum takes a long time to get set and then goes down on the hit. The referee wants it reset.
The Stormers cannot make the most of the attacking ball after Ulster cough it up. They will come back for a scrum just beyond the ten inside the Ulster half.
The Stormers try to maul and get turned over as the shove doesn't come on and they will have to defend a scrum fed by Ulster.
A hoist goes up and the Stormers lose it on the ground. Ulster's attack gets toward the 22 but they also lose the ball and the Stormers kick long. McCloskey gets back and finds a touch close to the ten.
Libbok kicks his restart straight into touch and the Stormers really aren't helping themselves.

Timoney waltzes straight through off a set move off a lineout. Poor kick from Libbok led to the attacking set.

Ulster will be reasonably happy to edge a kicking battle but the Stormers have the lineout close to halfway. Ulster steals it and rumbles into the Stormers' half. They kick it away close to the Stormers 22 and a hurried kick goes away. Ulster still have an attacking ball but soon hoist and the Stormers clutch it. Another kicking battle results.
Ulster get lucky as a kick is touched but goes out close to the Stormers 22. Ulster have the attacking lineout.
KICK OFF: Ulster kick off deep and the Stormers gather. The box kick is won by Ulster who attack from the ten.
