Romania get pinned for being offside twice but Ireland can't take advantage and they will set up a lineout five out from the Romanian line.
An early intercept attempt doesn't go to hand for Romania and Ireland will feed the scrum close to halfway.
The second half is underway and Ireland are full of running right off the restart.

Sexton appears unhurt as he kicks the conversion to end the half.

Sexton finishes off but is hit and isn't happy about it.
Ireland sweep up in attack again but Earls knocks on as he tries to gather a loose ball in the Romanian 22.
Keenan overcooks a kick which will give Romania a rare chance at attack from the lineout but they lose the ball at then setpiece.

Aki skins the defence on the mismatch and that will be the bonus point for Ireland.
Ireland are held up over the line and Romania drop out from their own goal-line. However, Ireland are bringing it back and Aki is going at some clip.
YELLOW CARD, ROMANIA, SIMIONESCU
Simionescu is sent to the bin for a professional foul with Romania under pressure on their own line after a quick tap from Sexton
Rupanu eventually snatches up a loose ball and thumps his kick clear up into the Ireland 22 and Earls gets back and goes to the safety of touch on halfway.
Ireland drop the final ball again and that's another let-off for Romania.
Romania eventually get an exit of sorts but not before a kick is clattered into one of their own players. Ireland had strayed offside though and Romania get up to their own 22.
Ireland are relentless as they attack the fringes but Romania just do enough in defence and Earls drops the final ball. Play will restart with a Romanian scrum five from their own line.
Ireland are a little too aggressive at the breakdown after the restart and Romania are afforded a cheap exit after looking to have played themselves into trouble.
PENALTY, ROMANIA, RUPANU, 19-8:
Ireland are under pressure on defence and concede a penalty which Rupanu slots well.
Ireland have a lineout on their own 22 after they let the restart bounce into touch but Herring then throws it in skew and Romania opt to refeed the lineout.
Sexton pushes his kick past the posts.

Beirne flies over to finish in the corner but great work from wings Lowe and Earls in the build-up must be credited.
Ireland win the penalty at scrum time and Sexton moves play to halfway with the subsequent kick.
Romania win an attacking lineout thanks to a great chase and tackle from Manumua but the maul is stopped from the lineout and Ireland have a scrum and a chance to cleat their lines.

Ireland attack with pace and precision and eventually a tidy finish from Keenan sees Romania breached for a second time.
Romania string the phases together but Earls gets onto the ball as they go wide and wins a penalty for Ireland that Sexton knocks out ten from halfway. Ireland will have a go from the lineout.
Romania get the free kick at scrum time and they call for another scrum with Ireland under pressure on their own 22.
Ireland knock on as they attempt a steal from the Romanian lineout and we will have the first scrum of the match.

Sexton puts Ireland into the lead and they have been shocked into life it seems.

Ireland throw everything into attack and Gibson-Park runs it in.

Vaovasa skins the Irish chase and is away and feeds his halfback partner who goes over for a stunning early score.
