The Sharks are still willing to play from deep and Fassi throws a forward pass under pressure. That was well-defended by the Bulls who now have another attacking scrum feed.

Louw makes a big carry off a Sharks error but the Bulls spill the ball on the Sharks 22. The Sharks have the scrum feed.

The Sharks knock on as they try to turn up the heat on the Bulls. Fassi took well in the air but Venter couldn't cleanly take his pass.

TRY, BULLS, VAN DER MERWE, 7-17: Van Der Merwe gets over at last and the Bulls have their third try.

De Klerk is shepherded into touch after finding a bit of space but the Bulls have the lineout feed. The TMO thinks they have spotted foul-play.

Le Roux chips and its an awkward one but Hooker gets back and dots dead. He carried it back so the Bulls will have the scrum feed five out.

YELLOW CARD, SHARKS, TSHITUKA: Tshituka is sent to the bin for losing his feet.

The Sharks repel the Bulls' maul and win the scrum deep in their 22. The Bulls will put them under pressure at this setpiece.

The Sharks rumble up towards the line but then lose it and the Bulls chip and chase from their own in-goal. Moodie backs his pace but is hauled in by Fassi. The Bulls win the penalty as the Sharks lose their feet.

Arendse has left the field and Van Staden is down and the Bulls have problems here and they could reverberate into the playoffs.

Fassi picks out some space with one of the Bulls wingers down and he finds the 50/22. The Sharks have an attacking lineout about ten from the Bulls line.

The Bulls restart the match and Fassi takes in the kick for the Sharks who then kick for distance. The Bulls return a contestable before the Sharks send up another and that allows Moodie to spark a counter.

HALF TIME: SHARKS 7-12 BULLS The Bulls have had to do a lot of tackling to keep their advantage. The Sharks have played with freedom as you would expect and the match has been an entertaining contest. Bulls fans would probably like to see their team get their hands on the ball and do some damage on the scoreboard but they have played well for their lead.

The Sharks keep running from deep now and almost get themselves in a bind but Hanekom kicks with a box kick that rolls dead. The Bulls will have a scrum after the Sharks knocked on.

The Sharks try to sneak a quick lineout but the Bulls had already formed up after a penalty. The Sharks lineout goes awry again and Hanekom kicks it into touch another ten metres back.

Kok gets up to gather the tester but is forced into touch and the Bulls have the lineout feed just inside their half. The Sharks blew their chance by getting isolated off the maul and coughing up a penalty.

The Sharks get the lineout win and maul up but are stopped illegally. They swing it wide but cannot get over and they come back for the penalty.

Arendse makes a great tackle but gets caught in the tackle area and the Bulls give up a penalty and know the Sharks have an attacking lineout.

CONVERSION, BULLS, GOOSEN, 7-12: Goosen converts this one.

TRY, BULLS, GROBBELAAR, 7-10: That's a great maul try from the Bulls and they always looked like they would get over to score.

The Sharks have to backpedal as the Bulls use advantage to spark a counter from the scrum. The Bulls will put this into the corner and their maul should be unstoppable.

The Sharks get rumbling forward as Fassi sets away Keyter on the outside with a well-timed pass. James Venter then knocks on as he tries to pick and go and the Bulls will have the scrum and the chance to milk a penalty to make an easy exit.

The Sharks lose their lineout again but the Bulls pick up and run into their own players and the Sharks have a scrum feed.

Le Roux is unhappy with a chase after his hoist bounces into touch but quite a few of the potential chasers were in front of the kicker. The Sharks will feed the lineout just inside their own half.

Goosen cannot convert so the Sharks remain in the lead. However the Bulls are just starting to rev their engines.

TRY, BULLS, KRIEL, 7-5: The Bulls finally get something going on attack and score a sensational team try.

The Bulls win the scrum penalty and exit well with a penalty that will allow them to feed the lineout on halfway.

A frantic phase of play ends with the ball being thrown into the referee inside the Bulls 22. The Bulls have the ball and the referee apologises for standing in the Bulls line.

CONVERSION, SHARKS, MASUKU, 7-0: Masuku converts his own try.

TRY, SHARKS, MASUKU, 5-0: Masuku reacts quickly as the Bulls throw a long lineout that bobbles into midfield.

Keyter is moving it after a grubber but Le Roux stays calm and lets it go out.

The Sharks have a penalty close to halfway after a promising run from Fassi and Van Staden trying to jackal but getting it wrong. Masuku calls for the tee but misses the kick and Le Roux kicks to touch close to halfway.

The Bulls keep weathering the storm as the Sharks enjoy much more of the ball. The Bulls are doing well in defence but would prefer to get up the other end of the park. The Bulls set up a maul from a lineout inside their own 22. The contestable kick is gathered by the Sharks who put up the tester as well.

The Sharks play some neat offloads but then spill a pass deep in the Bulls 22. The Bulls have the scrum and dominance at the setpiece.

The Sharks are forced backwards in an attacking set and kick for position. They then give away a penalty as they come up too quickly off the lineout. However Goosen then kicks the penalty dead.

The Bulls get their timing wrong on the jackal with the tackler still attached and the Sharks get a cheap exit.

The Bulls win the scrum against the head and go for the long kick into space but Kok gets back and finds Fassi who kicks to touch on halfway.

KICK OFF: Masuku kicks off for the Sharks and the Bulls kick long from the exit and it isn't out. The Sharks send up a hoist and its lost by the Bulls. The Sharks have the scrum inside the Bulls half.

The Bulls need a bonus point win to secure a top-two finish that will guarantee home advantage for both the quarter-finals and the semi-finals. The Sharks won the Challenge Cup just last week but have nothing riding on this match after a poor URC campaign.
