FULL TIME. LEINSTER 36-12 STORMERS. It's all over and the Stormers miserable night comes to an end. They hung in for the first half, but with the set pieces all but rendered useless, it wasn't easy for them to find any sort of foothold in the game.
Thanks for joining us.
TRY, STORMERS, ROOS. LEINSTER 36-12 STORMERS. The Stormers manage to win a lineout and they shift the ball quickly to Roos. He drives over in the corner. Galant misses the conversion.
Some more great play from Galant who set Roche away. His pass is intercepted and the Stormers win a penalty as the Leinster player fails to release. Stormers now set up an attacking lineout.
Possibly the move of the game from the Stormers as Galant doubles round twice to create an overlap and set Zas away. Some great hands but Jantjies is tackled by Lowe and the inevitable penalty follows as he holds onto the ball.
Simelane does very well to chase back and gather a long hack down field. The Leinster man dives on top of him and gifts the Stormers a penalty.
CONVERSION, LEINSTER, BYRNE. LEINSTER 36-7 STORMERS. Over go the extra two.
TRY, LEINSTER, OSBOURNE. LEINSTER 34-7 STORMERS. What a mess. This is getting embarrassing for the visitors. After defending their line bravely through countless of Leinster phases they win a turnover and look to counter. Ruhan Nel looks to get the wall wide quickly but he passes it straight to Osbourne who falls over the line for the score.
Indeed Leinster win another penalty at the scrum and set up another lineout...
Lineout feed was skew and Leinster miss the chance to maul for the try... although they are quite enjoying the scrums.
Lineout feed was skew and Leinster miss the chance to maul for the try... although they are quite enjoying the scrums.
Stormers absolutely smashed in the scrum. Shoved badly back and Byrne pushes them back into the corner for another lineout.
Looks like James Lowe has cantered in for a try but the Stormers are granted a reprieve as the TMO has spotted a knock on. That's a bullet dodged.
CONVERSION, LEINSTER, BYRNE. The extras are added.
TRY, LEINSTER, SHEEHAN. LEINSTER 27-7 STORMERS. Over goes the hooker after a sensational kick pass from Byrne. the home side are starting to run away with this. Which is hardly surprising really, the Stormers are struggling with their set pieces and they are conceding far to many penalties.
Play resumes and immediately the Stormers are conceding another penalty. This time for playing a knock from an offside position.
CONVERSION, LEINSTER, BYRNE. LEINSTER 22-7 STORMERS. Byrne adds the extra.
TRY, LEINSTER, BARRETT. LEINSTER 20-7 STORMERS. Lovely pass to Barrett from a ruck and he crashes over. Leinster had opted to tap and go with their penalty and it worked a charm.
Deon Fourie is spoken to sternly about the number of penalties the Stormers are conceding. They are on dangerous ground.
Ross Byrne does well to find touch for Leinster after a long phase of play that saw both sides winning turnovers and making some good kicks.
Jon Roche is playing at 10 for the Stormers as they win a scrum and then a freekick. The set-pieces from both sides have been dismal. Galant puts the ball into touch.
Stormers penalized for holding onto the ball in the tackle.
Leinster penalized at the scrum.
Two more penalties conceded by the Stormers. One at teh scrum and one for Warrick Galant lifting the player through the horizontal in a tackle. This is abject fare. Leinster set up the lineout and then throw it in skew to gift a scrum.
This time Dweba wins a penalty for the Stormers, but the kick to touch is missed.
Stormers cough up another penalty as Dweba penalized for offside and the ref warns the Stormers that the next one is a yellow.
Leinster look to maul it up and Stormers are penalized for collapsing.
It looks like the Stormers have won a turnover after a period of sustained Leinster pressure. But the turnover was illegal and Leinster set up a lineout.
Ross Byrne gets play underway again.
The conversion is missed and the referee blows for the half. It has been an error strewn opening 40 minutes with the Stormers somehow hanging on despite struggling massively in both the scrums and the lineouts.
TRY, LEINSTER, SHEEHAN. LEINSTER 15-7 STORMERS. Lovely try in the corner for hooker Dan Sheehan. He has been out injured for almost a year, and as Leinster find space James Lowe draws his man and send the hooker away. The Stormers cover defence can't get there.
Play resumes with a scrum and Neethling Fouche is penalized again for scrumming in.
Meanwhile Foley is on for McGrath who is taken from the field on a stretcher.
Manie Libbok, who took a knock to his knee earlier has limped off. Simelane is on for him so the Stormers will have to rejig their backline.
We have an injury to Luke McGrath and play is stopped. The medics are there holding his neck. Looks like he took Loader's knee to the head. Was quite possibly unconscious there for a bit.
It looks like Leinster may be away as RG Snyman offloads sublimely in the tackle. James Lowe steps and looks to be open, but Neethling Fouche gets across and stop him. Great tackle!
Free-kick at the scrum as Neethling Fouche is pinged when he looses his footing.
A fantastic break and offload from Warrick Galant comes to nothing as first Evan Roos spills it. Leinster hack it forward and Deon Fourie is their to slide in an field it - he knocks it on as well. This is a catalogue of errors at the moment.
Leinster pinged for obstruction and Libbok clears the Stormers lines. Salman Moerat is on as an early sub for the Stormers. Schickerling is off.
Leinster win a scrum at the penalty. Referee says they are not shoving straight, but it looked like they won that scrum...
A few attacking phases for Leinster ends with a knock on. And there is an early sub as Charlie Tector comes on for Liam Turner.
There are just too many mistakes from both sides at the moment. A couple of back-to-back penalties conceded by the Stormers now. Both at the tackle.
Manie Libbok has a kick charged down and the Stormers manage to regather. But they are under pressure and at the breakdown they are penalized for not releasing.
CONVERSION, STORMERS, LIBBOK. LEINSTER 10-7 STORMERS. Libbok slots the extra two.
TRY, STORMERS, LOADER. LEINSTER 10-5 STORMERS. A big scrum earns the Stormers a penalty advantage. They swing it wide quickly and Galant takes it to the line before swinging out a wide pass to the unmarked Loader.
This is VERY poor. Stormers miss their jumper and Leinster knock it on. Another scrum to the Stormers. This one is 10m out.
Another penalty for the Stormers as Slimani is penalized for not scrumming straight. Stormers set up the lineout again.
It is all a bit messy at the moment. Leinster almost rob a Stormers lineout but they knock on. And as the Stormers look to take advantage, they too spill it. It's worth noting there was a big shower just ahead of the game.
After a series of big crash balls from the forwards, Ali Vermaak spills it forward.
Soroka is penalised for offside at the ruck. Stormers opt to set up an attacking lineout.
CONVERSION, LEINSTER, BYRNE. LEINSTER 10-0 STORMERS. Byrne adds the extra points.
TRY, LEINSTER, OSBORNE. LEINSTER 8-0 STORMERS. After a series of pick and drives and pops around the corner, Lieinster go wide and Jordie Barrett find some space before feeding out to Osborne. Too easy really.
Leinster miss their jumper at the lineout and it falls to Joseph Dweba who spills it forward. Lots of early errors from the Cape Town side.
Scrum penalty for Leinster and they set up the lineout. Stormers cough up another penalty and now Leinster set up the attacking lineout just 5m out.
News filtering through that Bok prop Frans Malherbe, who was slated to start from the bench, has been forced to withdraw from the game due to injury. He has been replaced on the bench by veteran Brok Harris.
PENALTY, LEINSTER, ROSS BYRNE. LEINSTER 3-0 STORMERS. Deon Fourie effects a great turnover at the tackle. But as wins the ball he goes to ground and holds on too long. Leinster opt for the penalty at poles and open the scoring.
Excellent start for Leinster as Henry McErlean sets up a 50/22.
Manie Libbok get the game underway.
