SECOND HALF KICK-OFF: Mathee restarts the game to get us going in the second half.

The Lions intercept and hacks the ball down field. Gelant tracks back for the Stormers and returns the kick. The Lions secure possession, but there's a knock which ends the first half.
Here come the Stormers with a rolling maul.

The Stormers' defence in the wider channels is questionable. All three the Lions' tries have come from poor defence on the touchline.

TRY, LIONS, VAN DEN BERG. 8-3. The Lions hit back with a beautiful try after their Springboks Quan Horn and Van den Berg combine to unlock the Stormers defence.
That's a big three points for the Stormers, especially since they're down to 14 men.

YELLOW CARD, STORMERS, GELANT. The fullback was sent off for deliberate slowing the ball down.

Henco van Wyk goes on a sizzling run, leaving several defenders in his wake. But Gelant takes him down just before the tryline. However, the Stormers tackler is then pinged for rolling to the wrong side at the ruck.

Horn breaks the line for the Lions and frees up Kriel for a little run down the flank. But the Stormers' scramble defence does well to track back and force a handling error.
The Stormers run at the Lions' line again, but Horn steals possession away from them and Van den Berg clears.
And again, it comes to nothing for the Stormers. The Lions' defence is holding strong for now.
This is not good from the Lions. They concede another penult for streaking offside in the danger zone. The Stormers set a lineout.
Ben Loader comes in off his wing and takes the ball to the line to get the Stormers on the front foot.
First scrum of the game goes the way of the Stormers.
Oh that's poor execution by the Lions at the lineout.
Discipline is going to be an issue in this game. The Lions concede a penalty and the Stormers go on attack, but then the visitors are penalised, giving the hosts an easy exit.
The Lions have come to play. They run the ball from deep, finding gaps in the defence. But a poorly executed grubber kick travels nowhere, gifting possession to the Stormers.
Big mistake by Richard Kriel, as he takes the Stormers' clearance kick into touch.
And the Lions immediately win possession back before Van den Berg finds space in behind the Stormers defence with a neat little dink over the top.
