There will be seven matches played in the MTN Super League this weekend, the final set of games before the Fifa International break for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

That includes a clash between Nkana FC and Zesco United on Sunday, coming days after the latter parted ways with coach George Lwandamina following a CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round exit at the hands of Zimbabwean side Dynamos.

That means assistant coach Emmanuel Siwale will be the main man in the dugout for the trip to Nkana, while the club management go through the process of appointing a new head coach.

Zesco, who have yet to play in the league this season, have traditionally had the better of the league meetings with 15 wins to eight for Nkana in the past 30 clashes and have won two of the last three (D1). But they have not won at Nkana since 2021, which is their only success in six years.

Early-season pacesetters Nchanga Rangers travel to Mutondo Stars, who are still seeking their first victory of the season after three rounds of games.

Rangers have won two from three (L1) and head the table, having scored seven goals in that time, also the most in the division.

Green Buffaloes welcome Zanaco, who have not won away at their rivals since 2016. Buffaloes first home game of the campaign was a 4-0 success against Indeni.

FC Muza have a single point from their first three games of the campaign and host Indeni in what they will see as a big chance to bag a first three points. Promoted Atletico Lusaka have four points from their first three games and welcome Nkwazi, who have a win and a loss from two.

There are also a pair of games on Saturday as Power Dynamos welcome unbeaten Forest Rangers (W1 D2) and winless Mufulira Wanderers play host to Kabwe Warriors.
