Pau scored three tries in the final 20 minutes to see off Bordeaux-Begles 39-17 and retake second spot in the French Top 14 on Sunday.
Romain Buros's score early in the second half levelled the match for Bordeaux at 17-17 after Pau had taken a five-point advantage into halftime.
But Pau maintained their 100 per cent home record in the Top 14 this season, sealing a ninth successive win at the Stade du Hameau as Aaron Grandidier-Nkanang, Dan Robson and Remi Seneca all touched down in the last quarter.
Flyhalf Axel Desperes kicked two penalties and four conversions to finish with 14 points.
Toulouse remain 12 points clear, though, at the top of the table after thumping rock-bottom Montauban 68-13 on Saturday for a fourth straight victory.
