Former Vodacom Bulls and Griquas flyhalf Tinus de Beer will wear the number 10 jersey for the Airlink Pumas as they head into their match with the Vodacom Bulls at Mbombela Stadium on Friday night.
While the Pumas recently had their first choice flyhalf Eddie Fouche rejoin them after a loan stint at the Lions, De Beer has been preferred for the clash.
The Pumas are also set to give their newcomers their debut outing against the Bulls, with tighthead Simon Raw, lock Malembe Mpofu and scrumhalf Lucky Dlepu making their debuts from the bench.
There are several regulars from their successful 2021 campaign, where they finished fifth, including the dangerous Devon Williams, while Robbie Petzer starts in the midfield and the team is led by veteran Willie Engelbrecht.
