Stade Francais forwards coach Laurent Sempere will take up the same role with France after the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Les Bleus head coach Fabien Galthie said on Tuesday.
Former hooker Sempere, 37, will leave his role at the Parisian club with current France forwards coach Karim Ghezal taking over at the Parisian club after the tournament which ends on October 28.
Sempere has helped guide the side from the capital to second in the Top 14 table this season.
"I confirm Laurent Sempere has agreed to join France for the next mandate," Galthie told reporters.
"The opportunity came as he was free after the World Cup and he's showing very high level performances as a lineout coach. The forwards in general, but the lineout in particular," he added.
Galthie's attack coach, Laurent Labit, will also head to Stade Francais but as director of rugby.
Toulon's Pierre Mignoni had been linked with Labit's position before the club denied the reports this week.
Stade Francais head coach Gonzalo Quesada has also reportedly put his hat in the ring for the position, but the ex-Argentina fly-half denied those claims this week.
"It's absolutely fake that I propose myself!" he said on Twitter on Monday.
Galthie's side start the defence of their Six Nations title by travelling to Italy on February 5 before opening the World Cup on home soil by facing New Zealand on September 8.
