Former Springbok Jaco Kriel will play his last professional game for the Emirates Lions on Saturdayhe runs onto the field for their Vodacom United Rugby Championship match against Zebre at Loftus Versfeld.
Kriel, who has played 168 matches for both the Lions and the Golden Lions side, also played 11 tests for the Springboks and represented Kubota Spears and Gloucester in a fifteen year career.
Last weekend was his swansong at Emirates Airline Park and this weekend he will say goodbye to a long professional career as he looks to a new challenge.
Kriel is one milestone for the Lions to focus on and will be looking to end his career on a high, while scrumhalf Morne van den Berg also grabs his 50th cap this weekend for the side.
In other changes Rabz Maxwane and Ruan Venter both return to the side after completing their return to play protocols, while Emmanuel Tshituka, who has completed his suspension, will be on the bench as an impact player.
In the front row prop Morgan Naude comes in for the injured JP Smith on the bench.
