In keeping with Saturday’s grand nature of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship final, SuperSport has assembled a stellar cast of talent for the match-day broadcast from Cape Town where the Stormers will host Munster.

Moreover, there will be a “Test match” feel to the on-site broadcasts with two presentation zones at the DHL Stadium: one for each team.

Beginning at 5pm, ahead of the 6.30pm kickoff, Motshidisi Mohono will anchor the Stormers group with Schalk Burger, ex-Wales international Tom Shanklin and former Stormers and Bok speedster Breyton Paulse on hand to make the case for the home side.

Ross Harries, a BBC host, will anchor the red corner of Munster where he will be joined by former Springbok captain – and one-time Munster man – Jean de Villiers, plus former Irish international Alan Quinlan and another Munster stalwart in CJ Stander, now making his home in Cape Town.

For the match itself, Matthew Pearce and Quinlan will be on commentary with Hanyani Shimange adding his view from the sidelines with the roving microphone.

Afrikaans duties fall to Gerrie Scheepers and Kobus Wiese with Lonwabo Mtimka and Kayo Malotana commentating in isiXhosa.
