Varsity matches to be streamed on SuperSport Schools App

In keeping with innovating and pushing the boundaries, FNB Varsity Cup will now be streaming all non-televised matches from 28 February onwards, for the duration of the 2022 season. All live-stream matches kick off at 19:00.

"We are very excited to announce that all Varsity Cup matches will now either be broadcast or live-streamed," said Xhanti-Lomzi Nesi, Tournament Director for Varsity Cup. "The three non-televised matches will be flighted live on the SuperSport Schools App and on the SuperSport Schools website."

The rugby-loving public will be spoilt for choice with all five Monday night Varsity Cup matches aired on a screen near you.

"Download of the SuperSport Schools App is free and only requires users to supply an email address and password. To view the games on the app or website, you need to register and be logged in to catch all the action," continued Nesi.

Five-time Varsity Cup champions Maties will be hosting Wits while Jonathan Mokuena's Orange Army, UJ, will welcome his former team, the NWU Eagles, in Johannesburg. Both of these enticing fixtures will be streamed live on the SuperSport Schools App and website.

All three live-streamed fixtures kick off at 19:00.

Maties v Wits - Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch

UWC v Madibaz – UWC Stadium, Bellville

UJ v NWU Eagles - UJ Stadium, Johannesburg
