Bahir Dar obstacle for Hambericho, Insurance face Dire Dawa

Hambericho Durame take on high-flying Bahir Dar City with relegation staring them in the face, while Dire Dawa City tackle Ethiopian Insurance in Friday's Ethiopian Premier League matches.

After this round only five games are left in the season.

Hambericho Durame (16th) are bottom of the log with eight points, having lost 18 out of 24 league matches. They also have five draws one win.

Hambericho have only scored 10 goals so far and possess the worst defensive line in the league, having conceded 42 times.

Bahir Dar City, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last ten matches and have not conceded a goal in seven of them.

They are currently ranked third on the table with 41 points.

It will be recalled that Bahir Dar finished second in the league last year, and they will be hoping to at least match that position.

Bahir Dar City are expected to beat Hambericho Durame easily, but  their first-round match ended in a goalles draw.

In the second match of the day, Dire Dawa City will meet Ethiopia Medhin.

In their last six matches Dire Dawa City have won two matches and lost only one.

A resurgent Ethiopian Insurance have won four consecutive matches with an impressive defensive performance, conceding only one goal in the last three matches.

The team managed to win only two of their first 20 matches/
