Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva revealed on Saturday that she is still waiting on visa approval to enter the United Kingdom to play at Wimbledon for the first time next month.

The 16-year-old said she was desperate to play at the All England Club as she had yet to compete on a grass court.
There was no indication whether her nationality was playing a part in the visa delay.
Last year, Wimbledon banned all Russian players from the tournament in response to Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
"My next tournament has to be Wimbledon. But I didn't get my visa yet, so we will see if I can participate in Wimbledon or not," said Andreeva after her loss to Coco Gauff in the third round of the French Open on Saturday.
"I didn't play on grass yet, it could be my first time. I'm excited about it."
Andreeva said she was in the dark over the reason for the visa hold up.
"I don't know anything. I just know what my team tells me, what my parents tell me. So if you want to know some stuff about it, you could ask just them. Me, I don't know anything."
