After a clean sweep of victories in the opening weekend of the Hollywoodbets Pro Series, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins Ladies are in Oudtshoorn facing the Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers this weekend.

The Recreation Ground will play host to the Hollywoodbets Pro50 and Pro20 clashes this weekend as the Dolphins look to continue their winning start to both competitions.

Reflecting on their double win over the Fidelity Titans, head coach Angelique Taai has a stand-out moment from the weekend.

"Seeing Asamkele Kawu scoring her maiden half century with the captain Nondumiso Shangase by her side was definitely a highlight for us," Taai said.

"To see their partnership of 101 be such a crucial part of us winning the match was also great to see; we are hoping to carry that good form into this weekend."

Heading into the second week of the competition Taai believes that there isn't a specific area that they will be looking to improve on.

"We don't look at specifics when it comes to improvement, we want to improve in all areas consistently throughout the season. We are just making sure that we are better each match in all aspects of the game."

Looking at their opposition this week, Taai knows that the Badgers, especially in their home conditions, are a tough outfit to beat and they will provide another stern test for the Dolphins this weekend.

"They will definitely come out firing and will want to win on their home ground in front of their home supporters and we are expecting them to be out top of their game.

"We will not be focusing on the opposition though we just want to make sure that we keep things simple and do the basics well.

"Last week we got two wins, but they were both in close games, so I was very satisfied with how we won so hopefully we bring that confidence into this weekend."
