LePage leads Canada 1-2 in world decathlon
Pierce LePage led a 1-2 for Canada in the decathlon at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest on Saturday.

The 27-year-old turned his silver last year into gold with a total of 8 909 points, teammate and Olympic champion Damian Warner filling second spot (8 804).
Grenada's two-time Commonwealth Games champion Lindon Victor took bronze (8 756).
Only 15 of the 24 decathletes who started out finished the gruelling two-day event. 2022 champion Kevin Mayer of France was one of those not to last the course.
