Plenty of world title action coming up

Boxing fans around the world have plenty of world title action to look forward to over the next few weeks.

On Saturday 20 May, inside the 18 600-seater MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Devin Haney 29-0; 15 defends his IBF, WBA Super, WBC and WBO lightweight titles against Vasiliy Lomachenko 17-2; 11.

The betting odds have Haney at mimus 280 favourite and Lomachenko at plus 230.

On the undercard Junto Nakatani meets Andrew Moloney for the WBO junior bantamweight title.

SATURDAY 27 MAY

Michael Conlan 31-2-1; 8 will challenge Luis Alberto Lopez 27-2; 15 at the SSE Arena in Belfast for the IBF featherweight title.

Mauricio Lara and Lee Wood meet in a rematch with Wood hoping to regain his WBA featherweight title.

Lawrence Okolie defends his WBO Cruiserweight title against Chris Billam-Smith at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth.

SATURDAY 10 JUNE

Josh Taylor defends his WBO junior welterweight title against Teofimo Lopez in New York.

Sunny Edwards defends his IBF flyweight against Andres Campos in London.

FRIDAY 16 JUNE

Sivenathi Nontshinga defends his IBF junior flyweight title against Regie Suganob in East London.

SATURDAY 17 JUNE

Regis Prograis defends his WBC junior welterweight title against Liam Paro in New Orleans.

SATURDAY 24 JUNE

Fernando Martinez defends his IBF junior bantamweight title against Jade Bornea in Minneapolis.

Joshua Franco defends his WBA junior bantamweight title against Kazuto Ioka in Tokyo.

SATURDAY 22 JULY

Errol Spence vs Terence Crawford in Las Vegas for 12 rounds – welterweights (for vacant Ring, Spence’s IBF/WBA/WBC and Crawford’s WBO titles)

TUESDAY 25 JULY

Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue meet for the WBC/WBO junior featherweight titles at the Ariake Arena in Koto-Ku.
