A impressive bowling performance, headlined by three Corbin Bosch wickets saw the Momentum Multiply Titans earn a 12 run victory and end the Dafabet Warriors' winning streak in their CSA T20 Challenge clash in Gqeberha on Friday.

Bosch recorded figures of three wickets for 22 runs from his four overs, with Lizaad Williams grabbing 2-26 while Dayyaan Galiem and Neil Brand returned with 1-23 and 1-21 respectively to restrict the hosts to 156/7.

Earlier, a half century by Momentum Multiply Titans batter Sibonelo Makhanya helped catapult his side to 168/9 at the change of innings.

Makhanya smashed four boundaries and a six, facing 48 balls for his 60 to record the top score for his side as Warriors opening bowler Beyers Swanepoel was a menace with the ball, recording career best T20 figures of 5/39 from his four overs.

Chasing 169 for victory, the home side lost the services of Jiveshan Pillay for nine runs, caught behind off Lizaad Williams.

Skipper Matthew Breetzke and Andile Mokgakane took their side to 53/1 after the powerplay, sharing 31 runs for the second wicket before the skipper was removed by Neil Brand for 25.

Mokgakane and Jordan Hermann put on 41 runs for the third wicket and looked to wrestle momentum back in their favour.

Corbin Bosch removed both batters in consecutive overs, first sending Mokgakane back to the dugout for 33 and then Hermann [32] in his next over with the score on 122.

Galiem removed Sinethemba Qeshile [8] before Bosch took care of Patrick Kruger [5] for his third wicket of the match.

Needing 32 runs from the last two overs, Swanepoel was dropped three times in two overs, struck two boundaries to score an unbeaten 21 from 14 balls as the Warriors winning run came to an end.

CAREER BEST FOR SWANEPOEL

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, there was little to choose between the teams as the visitors reached the end of the powerplay on 55/3 after Swanepoel grabbed all three wickets to fall inside the first six overs.

SA under 19 stars Lhuan-dre Pretorius (4) and Steve Stolk (8) fell with the score on 37, as Rivaldo Moonsamy cut loose.

The right hander faced 14 balls for his 34 runs, hitting four boundaries and two sixes before he fell off the final ball of the powerplay.

Alfred Mothoa struck twice in consecutive deliveries to remove Neil Brand (11) and Dayyaan Galiem (0) as the TItans slipped to 72/5.

Nealan van Heerden grabbed the wicket of Corbyn Bosch for five runs before Sibonelo Makhanya and Aaron Phangiso registered a 74 run partnership to take their side past 150.

The duo fell two balls apart, as Swanepoel removed Makhanya for a well played 60 off 48, before trapping Phangiso 28 runs off 18 deliveries, including two sixes.

Lungi Ngidi was the last wicket to fall, run out for a brace as Swanepoel bettered his previous best T20 figures to record 5-39, while Mothoa claimed 2-27 and van Heerden returned with 1-30.
