France international scrumhalf Nolann Le Garrec will join La Rochelle next season, his Top 14 club Racing 92 said Tuesday.

Le Garrec "has just informed us that he will join La Rochelle from the 2025-2026 season", his current club said in a statement.

Le Garrec joined Racing's training setup in 2017 from his hometown club Vannes and has played 82 matches, starting 61.

The 22-year-old Breton broke into the France team during Antoine Dupont's absence in the Six Nations.

He made his debut off the bench against Ireland and went on to play the other four games, starting the last two against Wales and England, scoring a try in each.

His arrival at La Rochelle will coincide with the end of the contract of New Zealand's World Cup-winning scrum-half Tawera Kerr-Barlow.
