Hollywoodbets Dolphins stars Bryce Parsons, Eathan Bosch, Odirile Modimokoane, Jason Smith and Khaya Zondo will do duty for the SA A side against India A in the two-match series starting this week.

Cricket South Africa has selected two squads for the two matches, with Parsons, Bosch and Modimokoane involved in the first match in Potchefstroom while Smith and Zondo will play in the second 4-day match in Benoni.

Excitingly for the Dolphins, Parsons has been selected to captain the first SA A side as they get their match underway in on Monday.

Following some strong performances for the Dolphins across formats Eathan Bosch gains selection alongside Modimokoane who will provide left-arm spin cover.

Smith, who has been a stand-out for the Dolphins in recent seasons, is called up to the SA A side off the back of some strong performances across formats.

Khaya Zondo played in the recent series against the West Indies A and was an important part of the squad that won the series 2-1.

Head coach of the Hollywoodbets Dolphins Imraan Khan is eager to see how his players do making that step up to a higher level.

"This is what we want to see, and this is what the players want, and we can't wait to see how they go at this level," Khan said.

"To see our players graduate to the level just below test level is really encouraging for them and the rest of the squad."

CEO of KZN Cricket Heinrich Strydom feels that the Dolphins players have been rewarded for strong performances.

"We are glad to see our Dolphins players being recognised on a national level and we wish them all the best against what will be a strong India A team," Strydom said.

"This will be a great test for our players to see where they stand against an international team.

"For Bryce to be given the captaincy is a huge honour for him and we wish him along with the rest of our Dolphins players and the two squads all the best."
