France's Penaud out of Japan test with illness
France winger Damian Penaud will miss Saturday's November international with Japan due to illness with Theo Attissogbe starting, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) announced just an hour before kick-off.
Bordeaux-Begles' Penaud, 28, on 36 tries, is denied the chance of breaking Serge Blanco's Les Bleus scoring record of 38 due to the late withdrawal.
Pau's Attissogbe, 19, makes his third test appearance after his debut during this summer's scandal-hit tour of south America.
