With the latest international break completed, Cape Town Spurs will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they kick-start matchday 11 in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with a keenly anticipated tie against Baroka at the Athlone Stadium on Friday.

The Urban Warriors are currently in a heap of trouble as far as the league table is concerned, after recording just two wins in their last 10 matches played.

Sitting in 13th position, Spurs head into their next league assignment on the back of consecutive losses to Kruger United, Black Leopards and Orbit College respectively.

Then, further up the table, Orbit College could extend their winning streak to six matches when they take on Durban City at the Olympia Park Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Orbit’s impressive run has seen them climb up to second on the log and are now four points behind pace setters Milford FC. Durban City, who are likewise hoping to challenge for a PSL Promotion position, will go into this weekend’s action just one point behind Orbit College.

Then, Milford will be hoping to ward off their immediate rivals when they go toe-to-toe with Hungry Lions at the Suzuki Stadium on Saturday.

While Milford are on a three match winning streak, Hungry Lions could make it two victories on the trot after bagging a 3-0 win against Casric Stars last time out.
