MI Cape Town captain, Rashid Khan, won the toss and chose to bat first in their SA20 match against the Paarl Royals at Newlands on Sunday afternoon.

The home side are marooned in last place on the log, five points adrift of fifth placed Pretoria Capitals and desperate for their first victory after three losses and a washout against Durban Super Giants at Kingsmead.
