The Proteas won the toss and chose to bowl first in the second one-day international against Pakistan at World Sports Betting Newlands in Cape Town on Thursday afternoon.

The hosts have made four changes to the team that went down to the visitors by three wickets in Paarl on Tuesday, with captain Temba Bavuma returning in place of Ryan Rickelton, while David Miller, Bjorn Fortuin and Kwena Maphaka have come in for Tristan Stubbs, Kagiso Rabada and Ottneil Baartman.

Pakistan have named an unchanged team and will be aiming to build on the momentum built up from their first win of their tour.

The Proteas will however be desperate to bounce back with a win to keep the three-match series alive ahead of the final game in Johannesburg on Sunday.
