Pitso wants to add power up front for Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admits that adding firepower to his frontline is the major transfer goal in the next window.
Mosimane says they have identified the players they want to sign, but adds that being able to bring on board their top targets may be difficult.
It has been widely reported that Sundowns are eager to sign Zimbabwe international Knowledge Musona, who has had two previous successful spells in the Premier Soccer League with Kaizer Chiefs, but looks as though he will be staying in Belgium with AS Eupen.
"It's always the areas of scoring goals. It's the most critical part of the team," Mosimane said when quizzed on transfer targets.
"We know the players we want. If it was possible, but you know transfers are not easy. If it was possible, we would do it now.
"We have highlighted who we want. Of course, we are not going to get everybody we want and there is Plan A and Plan B.
"Last year we signed two players. This year we need to get a little more."
Sundowns trail Chiefs by four points, but with a game in hand, and will be hoping the 2019/20 season can be completed in order to give them the chance of overhauling their rivals.
There can be no transfer activity until the season is either finished or cancelled, with the latter option meaning the transfer window will open as usual on July 1.
