As Sekhukhune United host Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership on Saturday at the Emirates Airline Stadium, Amakhosi will look to push for CAF qualification.

The Glamour Boys currently occupy fourth spot on the log and will look to win their remaining two games in the league. At the same time, Chiefs will hope that results elsewhere will fall into their favour with third spot securing CAF Confederations Cup football.

With Chiefs travelling this week, coach Arthur Zwane will hope to overturn their poor run in games on the road. Regarding away ties, the club is currently on a two match losing streak.

Amakhosi are also on the back of a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns, as the two South African football giants shared the spoils at the FNB Stadium on Sunday, 8 May.

After the game, Zwane reiterated the importance of preparation and gave insights on Chiefs’ struggles of late.

“We are playing in patches, we are afraid of losing the ball, but its something that we are going to work on,” Zwane said after the match.

"Just one extra day of preparing you know, the team, much better compared to when we were playing back-to-back, we didn’t have enough time to prepare the team in terms of sessions."

For Sekhukhune United, their form card does not make for a good look. The club is currently on a run of nine matches without a win in the DStv Premiership

Sekhukhune have also lost four out of their five last home matches, scoring just one goal during this time.

After their recent 0-0 stalemate, co-coach MacDonaldo Makhubedu spoke about the club’s struggles in front of goal but is hopeful that their attackers will get it right.

“We will get it right, we must just keep on working hard, we have good goalscorers,” Makhubedu said.

“Its just a matter of luck, we will keep working on our finishing, we will get it right.

“We are very very patient with them, they’ve done well for us before, we will keep working hard on that aspect of the game.”

SEKHUKHUNE UNITED: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Chibuike Ohizo: The striker remains on the top of the pile when it comes to their goalscorer's list, netting seven times in 18 league matches.

Justin Shonga: Makhubedu’s words could galvanise the ex-Orlando Pirates star, as the club will no doubt look to his creative ability in finding the back of the net.

KAIZER CHIEFS: PLAYERS TO WATCH

Keagan Dolly: The former Mamelodi Sundowns man was a bright spark against his former team last week, which has been the pattern for the Bafana Bafana international this season.

Khama Billiat: As the assist leader in the DStv Premiership this season, Chiefs will look to his creative expertise to forwards such as Samir Nurkovic and Leonardo Castro.
