Guinean champions Horoya will play host to Wydad Casablanca in a Caf Champions League first-leg quarterfinal clash at Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 6pm CAT (GMT +2).

The match will be Didier Gomes first in continental competitions as Horoya head coach, after overseeing the club's 4-0 win over Haifa FC in the league this past weekend.

Gomes took over the reins from fellow Frenchman Patrice Neveu last month, this despite Horoya reaching the last eight of Africa's premier club cup competition.

The Guinean club finished second behind defending champions Esperance de Tunis in Group B, following a 2-1 win over Orlando Pirates in the final round of group stage fixtures.

If Horoya are to take an advantage into the second-leg in Morocco, they will have to do so without Djibo Wonkoye and Godfred Asante. The duo are suspended for the opening tie in Conakry due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Wydad booked their place in the quarterfinals as Group A winners. The 2017 champions finished level on points with 2016 champions Mamelodi Sudowns, but duly advanced as group winners due to their superior head-to-head record over the Brazilians.

The reverse fixture will take place in Rabat next week Saturday, 13 April.
