Teungueth out to surprise wounded Alger

Teungueth FC will battle with MC Alger in the CAF Champions League Group D match at the Stade Lat-Dior in Thies, Senegal, on Saturday.

However, Teungueth remained fourth on the Group D standings - three points behind leaders Esperance de Tunis with four matches left.
Youssouph Dabo, the Teungueth head coach, has made it known that they will be eyeing a victory when they take on Alger.
“We welcome the third game. We will have to play to win. It's a mini-championship," Dabo said on WIW Sport.
"Every point is important. It will be necessary to win this match to redeem ourselves. As for us, we have a point. So everything is possible in this pool."
Meanwhile, Alger are also winless in Group D having drawn 1-1 with Tunisian giants Esperance at home in their last game in this competition on 23 February.
Therefore, the Algerian giants are placed second on the Group D standings - two points behind leaders Esperance as the teams battle to advance to the knockout phase.
Abdelkader Amrani, the Alger head coach, says he wants his players to play like warriors against Teungueth with his side having lost 2-1 to JS Kabylie in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 on 27 February.
"We must turn this page and start our preparations for our match in the Champions League against the Teungueth team," Amrani said on Competition DZ.
"I want warriors on the ground...I want players focused on training, because if we want to succeed in our game, we have to be serious and focused on the training sessions. This is the key to success."
This will be the first-ever competitive meeting between Teungueth and Alger.
