South Africa’s last remaining representatives in this season continental competition, Orlando Pirates, have called on their fans to fill up Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers have embarked on social media drive to get bums on seats for Sunday's 6pm, second-leg semifinal clash against Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Pirates have a 2-0 lead from the first leg and will be hoping to complete the job in front of their home crowd, if they are to play in next Friday's final in Uyo. The Nigerian city was announced host city on Wednesday.

CAF will confirm the kick-off time for the final in due course.

This is the first major intercontinental cup final to be hosted at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. Uyo is the capital of Akwa Ibom State – the home of Nigeria’s Premier League side Akwa United.

Former Akwa United defender Olisa Ndah could feature in the final with Orlando Pirates.

Last year, the TotalEnergies Confederation Cup final was hosted in Cotonou, Benin where Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic beat Algerian side, JS Kabylie 2-1.
