Lamontville Golden Arrows have confirmed the return of two of their former players to the club for the 2021-22 DStv Premiership season.

Attacking midfielder Andile Fikizolo and goalkeeper Siyabonga Mbatha were unveiled by the Durban-based club in what is expected to be an extensive overhaul of their squad.

Fikizolo arrives from Bloemfontein Celtic having previously spent four seasons with Abafana Bes’thende between 2014 and 2018, during which time he made 62 appearances and scored seven goals.

Mbatha started his professional career with Golden Arrows, but did not feature for the first team before leaving for Bloemfontein Celtic in 2010. He was most recently with AmaZulu.

The club have recently appointed Lehlohonolo Seema as their head coach and he will be tasked with repeating, at least, the fourth-placed finish achieved in the last campaign under Mandla Ncikazi.

The latter has left to act as an assistant coach at Orlando Pirates.
