Bahir Dar's Tsegaye Abera Fined for his celebration
Bahir Dar's Tsegaye Abera topped the Ethiopia Premier League's latest sanctions following week 27 fixtures.
The league's discipline committee revealed the disciplinary decisions-based referees and match officials report.
Only one player got the punishment on this week, and that was Tsegaye Abera.
Abera was on the scoreline when his team drew with Ethiopia Nigd Bank, as he scored the opening goal of the match.
The former Arbaminch City player did his improvised celebration routine by kicking the corner post.
The post was broken and needed to be changed with a replacement immediately.
The committee reviewed this in the Referee and match commissioner's reports and decided that the player must replace the post at the cost of 10, 000 birr.
It will be recalled that Sidama Bunna's Yigezu Bogale was punished for a similar offence a year ago.
