Ethiopia Coffee too hot for Insurance, Mekelakeya pound Sidama
It was hot and cold Coffee on display at Hawassa International Stadium as Ethiopia Coffee beat Ethiopian Insurance 2-1 but Sidama Coffee lost 1-4 to Mekelakeya in the Ethiopia Premier League on Saturday.
Victory takes Mekelakeya level on 57 points with Ethiopia Nigd Bank with the latter only ahead on goal difference (10).
In the first match, Ethiopia Coffee drew first blood courtesy of Anteneh Tefera.

Ethiopia Coffee though claimed all three points on offer thanks to an Abdulkerim Mohammed own goal in the 68th minute.
Needing to keep pace with the league leaders, Mekelakeya once again called on Minyilu Wondimu who has been their driving force in midfield.
Wondimu converted a penalty just before halftime to give them a 1-0 lead.
Behailu Girma increased Mekelakeya's lead after the break in the 47th minute.
Sidama Coffee pulled one goal back in the 66th minute through Birhanu Bekele to give them a fighting chance.
