Hadiya feast on Adama, Sidama and Insurance goalless

Hadiya Hossana beat Adama City 2-1 on Sunday and Sidama Coffee played to a goalless draw against Ethiopian Insurance.

Adama City drew first blood through youth prodigy, Yosef Tarekegn in the 17th minute.

Tarekegn's early goal gave Adama a well -deserved 1-0 lead and they looked like taking that into the break at halftime.

However, former Adama Striker, and Hadiya legend, Dawa Hotessa produced a moment of magic

Hotessa's strike ensured Hadiya went in at halftime tied at 1-1

Biruk Matos scored for Hadiya on 84 minutes for 2-1 advantage, and it proved to be the winning goal.

The win does Hadiya Hossana's standing a world of good as they leapfrog Adama City into 7th place though, both are on same 30 points with Adama now in 8th place

The goalless draw between Sidama Coffee and Ethiopian Insurance leaves Sidama on the 11th position with 24 points and Ethiopian Insurance still in relegation waters in 13th place.
