St George hosts Dire Dawa, Sidama Coffee for Hambericho

St George takes on Dire Dawa looking for a win to keep up with the new league leaders, Ethiopia Nigd Bank and Mekelakeya.

The league campaign of St George continues to unravel as they strive to keep up with new challengers, the types of which they have not experienced at least not this early.

St George are in 3rd place after starting the season like a house on fire but currently 6 points behind 2nd placed, Mekelakeya and 8 points behind the new leaders, Ethiopia Nigd Bank.

They have Fasil and Bahir Dar City breathing down their next with 19 points each but will be relieved with both dropping points yesterday.

St George risks going over 10 points behind the leaders with both sides scheduled to meet next week in a week 13 clash.

Dire Dawa City are in 12th place and in their last game, lost 1-3 to Mekelakeya after shocking Ethiopian Insurance 2-1 in their previous fixture.

Sidama Coffee seem to have found new wind with the arrival of their new Coach, as they followed up a 0-0 draw with Adama with a 2-0 shock with over Bahir Dar City.

Sidama Coffee are in 9th place with the possibility of moving up to 6th on the log today, a great motivation against Hambericho Durame who have been bottom all season.
