Dire Dawa City produced the shock result of the season when they beat St George 3-0, and Hambericho Durame delivered a sucker punch to Sidama Coffee with a 2-0 win.

St George had been expected to steam roll Dire Dawa but it was the other way round right from the kickoff.

Dire Dawa scored in the first minute through Efrem Ashamo's first minute goal.

Charles Muslige added a second goal 18 minutes later as Dire Dawa jumped into a 2-0 lead.

St George were shell shocked, and it wasn't too long before the Horsemen conceded the third goal, as Surafel Getachew added number 3 for Dire Dawa.

Dire Dawa took a 3-0 lead into the halftime break, and despite a spirited fightback by St, George in the second half, the result remained the same at full-time.

Hambericho Durame have been having quite a rotten run, and down at the bottom of the log all season until today.

They needed a Bereket Wondimu brace to earn an unlikely 2-0 win over a resurgent Sidama Coffee.

It was goalless at halftime but Hambericho needed just three minutes into the second half to go ahead.

Bereket Wondimu scored in the 48th minute to give them a 1-0 lead, and it sparked a Sidama onslaught which Hambericho weathered.

However, Bereket Wondimu completed his brace for Hambericho Durame's second goal to achieve a 2-0 win.

The result, Hambericho's first win of the season in which they have only managed three draws, increases their points haul to 6 points, 2 points behind 15th placed,  Shashemene City on 8 points and Wolkite on 9 points, just one place above them.
