Fasil, Sidama, Wolaitta and Insurance settle for draws

Fasil Kenema and Sidama Coffee played to a 2-2 draw on Sunday, and it was the same result for Wolaitta Dicha and Ethiopian Insurance.

There was a feast of goals for fans at the Dire Dawa International Stadium but no wins to celebrate.

Sidama Coffee got the scoring going in the 43rd minute when Michael Kporul gave them a 1-0 lead.

Kalkidan Zelalem equalised for Fasil at the halfway mark with his 45th-minute goal, taking them to 1-1 at halftime.

Fasil shot into the lead in the 65th minute through wingback, Amsalu Tilahun.

However, Michael Kporul did have the last say for Sidama Coffee as his second goal of the match was the equaliser, ending the game at 2-2.

Wolaitta Dicha and Ethiopian Insurance played a cagey first half which ended goalless.

Bisrat Bekele put Wolaitta Dicha ahead in the 53rd minute and Amir Mudesir equalised for Ethiopian Insurance 20 minutes later.

Bekele restored the lead for Wolaitta Dicha with 10 minutes to go in the 80th minute and the Tona Bees pressed their advantage until the 90th minute.

Ethiopian Insurance didn't want to give up, and with two minutes of added time, Mohammed Abera produced a late goal for Insurance to earn them the 2-2 draw.
