Adama and Wolaitta Dicha draw, Sidama and Wolkite goalless

It was a day of close margins in Friday's Ethiopia Premier League fixtures as Adama and Wolaitta Dicha played out a 1-1 draw, while Sidama and Wolkite ended goalless.

The usually cagey Wolaitta Dicha came out of the gates faster and were soon 1-0 up when Bisrat Bekele scored in the sixth minute.

Wolaitta Dicha and Adama were then engaged in a fierce battle for the rest of the first half but there were no further goals added.

The second half saw Wolaitta Dicha attempt to hold onto their lead as Adama poured forward looking for the equaliser.

Adama City kept pushing and were rewarded at the end of the game with an improbable equaliser on 90+6 minutes.

Mussie Kiros produced the goal that earned Adama a 1-1 draw and the point keeps them in seventh spot ahead of Wolaitta Dicha in eighth.

Sidama Coffee and Wolkite City both could have done with a win, but as it is the goalless draw means Wolkite remain in 15th position and Sidama Coffee in 12th.
