If soccer is the gift that keeps on giving, SuperSport will be the provider of many such gifts in the coming weeks.

Almost 700 matches are scheduled on the World of Champions between now and the end of March, taking in the major international leagues and the DStv Premiership, ensuring something for everyone.

Italy’s Serie A will provide the bulk of the action (140 matches), with LaLiga showcasing 121 games in the next few weeks.

Also on the SuperSport menu is PSL action (114 matches split between the DStv Premiership and Nedbank Cup), English Football League Championship (20 matches), Carabao Cup (two matches), FA Cup (47 matches), Uefa Champions League (32 matches), Uefa Europa League (38 matches) and World Cup qualifiers (40 matches).

What’s more, the live action will be accompanied by many hours of supplementary coverage with Premier League TV, the 24/7 LaLiga television feed, PSL club highlights and others (top clashes, cup finals, documentaries, legacy footage, fresh internally-produced content), Fifa and Uefa classic clashes and popular documentaries on several of the game’s figureheads.

This weekend’s live action includes two of the biggest matches of the season, with the North West derby between champions Liverpool and Manchester United at 6:30pm on Sunday (SS Premier League) and Derby d'Italia featuring Inter Milan against Juventus at 9:45pm (SS Football).

Apart from SuperSport on DStv, the matches can also be watched via the Showmax on-demand platform.
