Zesco United dropped two more points after being held to a goalless draw by Green Eagles in their MTN Super League clash on Saturday, with many strikers in the competition leaving their scoring boots at home this weekend.

Zesco could not find the breakthrough on a tough afternoon and have now won two of their opening five games in the league campaign.

Table toppers going into the weekend Nchanga Rangers saw defeat for the first time in the campaign as they went down 2-0 at fellow promoted side Muza FC.

Andrew Phiri scored a brace for the home side as they picked up a first three points to move out of the relegation zone.

Prison Leopards took over at the top of the table following a 1-0 win over Zanaco as Francis Zulu netted the only goal midway through the first half.

They now have 11 points from a possible 15 and their form this season is a continuation of the results they got at the tail-end of the last campaign.

Power Dynamos moved up to second as they claimed a 1-0 win over the 10 men of Napsa Stars.

Faustin Bokadila scored the only goal just before halftime, with the visitors further hampered by a red card for Leonard Mulenga.

Lumwana Radiants and Kansanshi Dynamos played to a goalless draw, while Nkwazi were denied a first win of the campaign when they were held 1-1 by Kabwe Warriors.

Zimbabwe international Ocean Mushure put Warriors in front, only for Wezzy Kumwenda to equalise for the hosts 20 minutes from the end.

In all, there were just six goals scored across the six games on Saturday.
