TOP CONTENDERS
Defending PGA champion Brooks Koepka leads a field of incredible players including fan favourite Rory McIlroy, the legend who is Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth - who will be trying to complete the Grand Slam in majors - and Scottie Scheffler, the world's most prominent and dominant golfer.
All in all, the world's top 103 are in the field.
LIV FOR TODAY
A total of 16 LIV players, including world No 5 Jon Rahm, join Koepka as part of a strong LIV Golf contingent named, which also includes former Open champion Cameron Smith and English hopeful Tyrrell Hatton.
The PGA has used the catch-all category of 'special invitations' to include the likes of Patrick Reed, Joaquin Niemann and Talor Gooch.
South Africa’s former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen turned down his invitation due to "personal commitments".
STRONG SA CONTINGENT
Five South Africans, including 22-year-old Ryan van Velzen, will tee it up at the second major golf tournament of the year.
Joining Van Velzen, who has qualified to play in his first Major by winning the 2023/24 Sunshine Tour’s Order of Merit, will be Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Dean Burmester, Thriston Lawrence and Erik van Rooyen.
